Public Enemy Number One

Red Alert! A new wave of terrorism is flooding across our great nation. Tearing and trashing our American freedoms, crushing the American spirit and firing upon our Constitution.

Perhaps minions of Bin Laden himself, they conjure fear and incite violence wherever they go. They claim no particular religious fervor, nor do they seem focused on any given cause except currying favor with their ideological master. They are anti-American to a degree not seen before.

They are not al Qaeda, Hamas, the IRA or the Islamic Jihad. These terrorists pose a much greater danger to the American way.

These are the "Free Speech" terrorists.

They work from within and are at first difficult to spot. Watch out for them, always waiting to pounce, scheming as treasonous, treacherous leaches of freedom.

They insist that their patriotism is beyond reproach, true Americans, yet they will not be satisfied till the American way of life is destroyed. Cloaked in the flag, they do the master’s bidding, neither wondering nor caring if he is right. They blindly follow and terrorize those who do not.

Perhaps out of ignorance, hatred or fear, but with the same result, each act of their terrorism pushes this country another step closer to the state of tyranny and oppression against which they pretend to defend.

Despite infinite shades of gray, they see only black and white and are therefore easily influenced and manipulated. They insist that, if you don’t support George W. Bush, then you support Saddam. They are evil incarnate and determined to destroy the American way of life. They are “Free Speech” Terrorists.

They can be found in both houses of Congress, on radio and TV, at work, in the White House and in the upper balcony of the Oscars. They are “Free Speech” terrorists.

McCarthy is their God, they know no other. They say if you don’t support GWB, then leave the country, “If you don’t like it, you can leave it.” ...Mantra of the “Free Speech" terrorist.

They become outraged when the news shows the true results of war. “How dare they offer a free propaganda outlet to the enemy,” they say. They believe there is only one side to the story. Such is the mindset of the "Free Speech" terrorist..

“People better watch what they say.“ Says the “Free Speech” terrorist. “There should be limits to what people can say.”

The words might differ slightly but the theme is always the same, “You can say what you want as long as it’s what I want,” Such is the focus of the "Free Speech" terrorist.

Disagree with the powers that be and be demonized. They make up lies designed to damage your reputation, deceitfully claiming that you don’t support the troops or you want Iraq to win or something equally despicable, untrue and irrelevant.

They are incapable of looking at situations from others’ perspectives, or perhaps they are afraid to because then, they themselves could be the victims of the “Free Speech" terrorists.

At first, the "Free Speech" terrorists seemed to have learned from other terrorists that fear is an apt tool of coercion. Perhaps they ponder, “Look how effective these terrorists have been at countering those with whom they disagree. I bet I can do the same.” More likely however, their lessons came from a much closer source.

It's true, the Administration wholeheartedly supports their efforts and sets the example with its implied tyranny and Orwellian political philosophy, one that is indefensible and overwhelming to the fear-infected masses.

Indeed, any disagreement with the illegitimate and self-serving Administration has nothing to do with support for the troops or any other issue for that matter. Nevertheless, the Administration's goal is to fool the citizenry into believing that the two are inextricably connected. Remember, “You are either with Bush or you are with the Terrorists,” so our leader tells us so.

They don’t want anyone to understand that there are alternatives. They don't want people to see the shades of gray. They don't want people to look at the situation from the other's perspective. That is their plan. They defecate on American values as they bow to the principles of Joseph Goebbels.

They are “Free Speech” terrorists.

Even as they preach the many benefits to living in this great nation with it’s treasured freedoms, they work relentlessly to rescind those benefits.

With a sneer on their face, they unnecessarily remind others how fortunate people in this country are to be able to protest, “You certainly wouldn’t be able to do that in Iraq!” Then they use everything in their power to destroy that right. “First Amendment zones”, “Let’s make protests illegal”, “No permits to protest here”. They are “Free Speech” terrorists and they are destroying America.

Fortunately, there are those who courageously stand up to the tyranny and terror spread by these terrorists. These are the only true patriots, willing to sacrifice themselves in order to preserve the US Constitution and our cherished freedoms.

These are the foot soldiers of justice. History will view these patriots graciously, for, were it not for them, America would cease to exist. As Joe McCarthy and Adolf Hitler are now viewed as historic demons of humanity within their respective societies, so too will these “Free Speech” terrorists be perceived. When the clouds have parted and true leadership again takes hold, then the true Constitutional Warriors will have their day in the sun, as will all Americans thanks to them.

In the meantime, it is our job to facilitate this process of Constitutional defense. When you come upon these terrorists, strike them down and expose them for the Anti-American traitors that they are. Remind them and all who will listen that the foundations of this nation are built not on the cowed sacrifice of our constitutional rights and civil liberties in the face of terror, but rather the staunch affirmation that nothing will ever take those rights and liberties away from us, not war, not Bush and certainly not the "Free Speech" terrorists.

The New Bush Paradigm

Just in case there was ever any question about the expected behavior of American journalists under a Bush regime, an example has now been set.

Pulitzer Prize Winner Peter Arnett has been fired by GE owned NBC for his comments on the Iraq Invasion. What did he say that was so terrible and outlandish? See for yourself:

"Arnett told the Iraqi television that American war planners had underestimated the determination of Iraqi troops to fight U.S. and British troops and that the Pentagon seemed to be amending its original strategy."

"'Now America is reappraising the battlefield, delaying the war, maybe a week and rewriting the war plan,' Arnett said in excerpts of the interview aired on U.S. networks. 'The first plan has failed because of Iraqi resistance. Now they are trying to write another plan.'"

And…

"He added there was a 'growing challenge to President Bush about the conduct of the war and also opposition to the war.'"

Ooooops. Now I see why all the hubub. Arnett dared mention the "challenge to President Bush". I'm sure Bush, upon waking from his nap, made a personal phone call to his buddy and generous contributor at the Head of GE and asked him to oust "this guy".

Of course Arnett's analysis is not at all outside the realm of many others circulating across America and the globe. Even right-wing stalwart, Bob Novak has been preaching and predicting this view for the past year. I don't see anyone firing him.

It's true, the government and the propaganda machine are foreclosing on the fifth estate. It is probably only a matter of time before they impose restrictions on internet commentary and then on personal discussions between spouses. Welcome to the new Bush paradigm.

Rumsfeld Lies About Syria: Setup for Operation "Syria Freedom"?

This morning, Brigadier General Vincent Brooks, during the Centcom Briefing on Operation "Iraqi Freedom" (7-8:00 am CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc), said, without qualification, that they have seen NO evidence whatsoever that the Iraqis have night vision goggles or that Syrians were at any point attempting to smuggle them to Iraqi troops..

You might recall that Rumsfeld issued a warning to Syria in a Pentagon briefing:

"We have information that shipments of military supplies have been crossing the border from Syria into Iraq, including night vision goggles."

"These deliveries pose a direct threat to the lives of coalition forces. We consider such trafficking as hostile acts and will hold the Syrian government accountable for such shipments."

It's quite clear that the Administration is fertilizing the field to plant the seeds of Syria's imminent invasion. As the Administration used lies to try and connect Saddam with al Qaeda, so too will they lie to connect Syria with Saddam. It seems to be the first ingredient in their recipe for attack.

In the meantime, note that the most egregious and well-documented terrorist supporter, Saudi Arabia, is wholly supported by Bush and Co. Is anyone here familiar with the "Law of Syllogism"?
