Technique: Try to appear as though you are not attempting to persuade anyone (ex p 137 Age of Prop) If you can convince the target that they have caught you in a spontaneous moment, totally unaware of their presence, your message (testimony) will be able to persuade more effectively. They will think that they have the goods on you and have overheard some otherwise secret information.  -  Just “Tell it like it is” or “Likee you see it”.  – Claim that you are above politics and just want to do what is “right”.
