Technique: "It's Just Common Sense." - At some point, but used very sparingly, perhaps when your points have been sufficiently summarized or when you have hit a particular bone of contention, follow with "It's just common sense." Or the like. The implications are clear and indisputable. Those with any common sense think this way. You don't think this way, therefore you have no common sense. Thus there is no reason for anyone to ever listen to you.
