Technique: Dehumanize the enemy. This resolves any dissonance associated with our cruelty toward our enemy. (E.g. Limbaugh - "Hillary looks like a hood ornament"). Ridiculing others (see "Disparaging humor") Refer to them, the opponent, as abstractions, not by name if possible (e.g. Taliban or Criminals). It is much easier to assault an abstraction.
