Technique: Destroy
your opponent’s ability to fight, not just to win the argument. In this
case, the best defense is the destruction of their offense. In the wild,
when an animal is injured or frightened, it becomes even more savage and
relentless in order to preserve its own survival. In politics it is the
same. If you defeat your opponent in an argument, they will go on to attack
you in the future only with greater ferocity and unrelenting savagery.
This is why you must take away their ability to attack in the future. Destroy
their credibility, sources, etc.
