poster-girl Coulter, commentating on the Secret Service agent who was thrown
off an American Airlines flight recently for being an Arab, and who has
threatened to sue: "This man should not be allowed near the president with
a loaded gun. At the least, he's an immature nut. At worst, he's a ticking
time bomb, in a simmering rage at America's supposed mistreatment of Muslims.",
"There is no principled basis for opposition to using Arab appearance as
a factor in airport screening procedures."

FACT:
In a September 12 article, Coulter paid tribute to her friend (Barbara
Olson). Ann suggested her "solution" to the problem of terrorism, "We should
invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."
In another article, she suggests that since "really annoying" security
procedures don't necessarily make a "safe plane," we should simply "pass
a law tomorrow requiring that all aliens from Arabic countries leave."

FACT:
At a Conservative Political Action Conference, Ann said "When contemplating
college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not
getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in
order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they
can be killed too. Otherwise they will turn out to be outright traitors."
COMMENT:
She is simply using John Walker Lindh to advocate death to liberals. It
fits cozily into the Bush-Orwell-Kafka-Ashcroft era of Intimidating and/or
killing those who disagree with you. Patriots to the death.
