FACT: Replying to Senator Leahy, Olson said that he was not somehow involved in the so-called Arkansas project, "I was not involved in the project in its origin or its management. As I understand it what that was, was a contribution by the foundation to conduct journalism and investigative journalism." Amazingly, prior to his nomination to the position of solicitor general by G. W. Bush, It was reasonably well known that Olson was involved in the project. David Brock, a well known, right-wing sandal-monger famous for the ruthless destruction of Anita Hill and an active participant in the "Arkansas Project" assured the senate that indeed, "[Olson] was up to his ears in the "Arkansas [Project]" and "There are many others who would say the same thing if anyone had bothered to investigate."

COMMENT: The Richard Mellon Scaife funded "Arkansas Project" was an organized and well funded attempt to discredit and destroy the Clinton Administration. And who else has lied under oath (That can be easily proven), you ask? Why none other than G. W. Bush in Funeralgate, Tom Delay in a civil lawsuit and Clarence Thomas in the Anita Hill Trials. Can we say IMPEACHMENT anybody?
