PERJURY: Summary

AMMO

George W. Bush (Lies, Criminal, Perjury)

FACT: If you've never heard of "Funeralgate" you should. This is a scandal involving one of the largest funeral home businesses in the country. As Paul Begala put it in an interview with Buzzflash.com, "[Bush] swore under oath that he had never discussed an investigation of a funeral home company with either the funeral home company or its lobbyist for his state agency that regulates the industry. As the lawsuit went on, the funeral home company's CEO, the lobbyist for the funeral home company, and the Bush appointee to the state agency all testified under oath that Bush was lying -- that, in fact, he talked to all of them about it." And, "…it's absolutely clear that Bush committed perjury in a civil lawsuit, and that DeLay did as well."

Tom Delay (Lies, Criminal, Perjury)

FACT: It is well documented that Delay lied under oath in a civil lawsuit in Houston relating to a pest control business partnership.

Ted Olson (Lying Under Oath, Criminal) 06/2002

FACT: Replying to Senator Leahy, Olson said that he was not somehow involved in the so-called Arkansas project, "I was not involved in the project in its origin or its management. As I understand it what that was, was a contribution by the foundation to conduct journalism and investigative journalism." Amazingly, prior to his nomination to the position of solicitor general by G. W. Bush, It was reasonably well known that Olson was involved in the project. David Brock, a well known, right-wing sandal-monger famous for the ruthless destruction of Anita Hill and an active participant in the "Arkansas Project" assured the senate that indeed, "[Olson] was up to his ears in the "Arkansas [Project]" and "There are many others who would say the same thing if anyone had bothered to investigate."

COMMENT: The Richard Mellon Scaife funded "Arkansas Project" was an organized and well funded attempt to discredit and destroy the Clinton Administration. And who else has lied under oath (That can be easily proven), you ask? Why none other than G. W. Bush in Funeralgate, Tom Delay in a civil lawsuit and Clarence Thomas in the Anita Hill Trials. Can we say IMPEACHMENT anybody?
