Bush will tell any lie if it suits him. "Freedom" in Iraq is the biggest joke. He's also a whinger when things don't go his way.
i just tossed all my asprin's into the trash, thanks for the warning mr. bush, signed canada
Bush is a spoiled bully and bullies always lose in the end
Kerry walked away from Bush, again, in the second debate. Kerry was solid, presidential, compelling, articulate and direct. Bush was anxious, repetitive, vengeful, desparate, and out of touch. Kerry won; Bush is down by two.
According to the Internet polls, perhaps the American people are finally realizing that their president cannot think for himself. He can only remember what his handlers tell him what to say. Perhaps the American people will finally realize who really attacked the WTC, and it wasn't Saddam. Maybe they'll begin to understand that when Bush invaded Iraq, he opened a can of worms that we can't eat. Maybe they'll remember that we were warned of a mushroom cloud, and that the president didn't say that we were going to war because of Saddam's INTENT or to free the Iraqi people. He said that Saddam was a "grave and immiment threat" and he also said that all the people who were protesting the war build-up were just a "focus group." There is more reason to impeach Bush than there was to impeach Clinton. The sex lie did not kill anyone. But perhaps the American people are beginning to realize they were duped and lied to. At least, I hope so, for the sake of our troops. And the Republicans need to stop saying they are fighting in Iraq so we won't have to fight here. The terrorists just might say, "ok, we'll take it back to the United States." The administration needs to just shut up and think of an exit.
90-minute debates can never be an accurate determining factor for choosing a president! Look at their records and see who has done the most for America, and that would be President Bush!!

George Bush is a criminal and an embarrassment to us and the world. Once again we see him as he really is: a corrupt pandering thief whose handlers stole him the presidency. Would only that 9/11 didn't happen and this loser wouldn't have anything to talk about.
Kerry was articulate and pounded his message, he looked presidential, thoughtful and able to handle the job on many levels. Bush on the other hand, was rude and his arguments were the standard canned campaign stop black vs. white answers -- to me he comes off as a simpleton, with no command of the language, or an evolving thought process. Kerry in a landslide!
MSNBC, despite the responses shown on most of these unscientific viewer-response online polls, declared Bush the winner. I just finished watching the first wave of MSNBC post-debate commentary Friday night. They turned the show over to GOP political figure Pat Buchanan and GOP lawyer Ben Ginsberg so they could cheerlead for Bush.
There was not even so much as a hint of balance.
Buchanan declared Bush "defeated John Kerry handily" and went on to call him "strong, presidential and tough" with his body language saying "I won." Then Ginsberg, basically a legal activist who helped engineer the 2000 Florida election for Republicans - declared Kerry "haughty." Then Buchanan came back and confirmed it, saying Kerry appeared to be "lecturing."
There was virtually no counterweight to the pro-Bush spin. Buchanan was given almost all of the critical time and left to run wild in the key seconds following the debate. The other side got in about 12 syllables as Buchanan paused to breath in his rant.
Even conservative estimates show a dead tie. Bush "won handily?" Apparently MSNBC believes its job is to spout right-wing propaganda.

Bush is so weak the worst terrorist attack in American history happened under his watch after his minions kept the attention of the nation and intelligence agencies on trying to overthrow Bill Clinton thus keeping Clinton from focusing on national security. When Clinton was president we had prosperity and peace but now under this guy whos daddy stole the white house for him we get war and unemployment and endless fear. I am pleased Kerry has risen to the occasion. I hope he restores the Clinton fiscal policies that work so well to foster prosperity during a time of peace.
President Bush once again used public information to discredit John Kerry's stance on the issues. Who wants a leader that cannot make up his mind on what he believes. George W Bush is clearly the leader this country needs in times like this.
It's amazing that Bush doesn't care if I have health care, but he wants to save me from terrorists. He doesn't care if I live or die in poverty, but he wants to save me from terrorists. He's against abortion and values life, except the lives of innocent Iraqi children. He doesn't care about gun laws, but he wants to save me from terrorists. Go figure.
Bush and Kerry both Skulls and Bones. Israel runs the USA. Bush and Israel are the terrorists behind 911. Wake up America! Down with Zionism! Down with all Masonic Lodges!

Note to President Bush: People don't like it when you scream at them. Don't interrupt the moderator. HE gets to decide if there is an extension. And finally Mr. President, you were debating Senator KERRY, not Senator Kennedy.
When Bush was asked to name 3 mistakes,he couldn't admit he even made one! A telling answer from our Supreme Court chosen Resident who Lies about everything and admits nothing. Remember,in Arabic,Iraq means Vietnam!!!
G.W. when asked in the final question to admit three faults, admitted none once again. Kerry on the other hand showed once again that a true leader takes information and makes the right decisions, based on that information.
G.W. was rude, and did not follow the rules of the debate, NBC would have ridiculed Kerry for this, they however only chuckled at Bushes antics. GOP based media, gotta love it. I AM FROM TEXAS unlike that rat bastard BUSH.
Watch Michael Moore's 9/11 MOVIE!!!
Factcheck.org shows Bush could qualify as a small business in 2001 for his part ownership of a timber enterprise. Should we buy some wood?
Since the president seemed to have a better ability to express himself in this debate, compared to his ability in the last debate, I have to admit it was closer this time. Quite a bit from each candidate was a repeat but so were the questions. I do think the president lost many points when he stomped on the moderator, which showed a lack of respect and control, the bully appeared? He was also very loud at times. I believe Kerry still remains more thoughtful, more intelligent, has more common sense and looks more presidential. Bush still remains less credible on the facts that disprove his statements about the environment and what he has truly done, especially in regulation changes, the war in Iraq and especially the problems with terrorism, how they have increased (all the 75% they have supposedly jailed or killed have been replaced) and what he hasn't done in the three years since 9/11 to make us safer.
I agree with the poster about the right-leaning commentary on MSNBC post debate. I don't know what's happened to Buchanan - he was more balanced when he had Bill Press to keep him on an even keel!
Thank ye gods for Joe Trippi - Matthews interviewed him briefly -- he mentioned how, as with the first debate and the VP debate, the online polls quickly reflected Kerry-Edwards victories - in spite of the GOP claims that they had this huge posse, millions,
poised to flood the polls! He even mentioned dailykos earlier today...
MSNBC and the rest of the corporate media don't want to recognise it, but I'd say this surely qualifies as a Groundswell, dontcha think?
(Ron Reagan has been feeble and a disappointment, as the only supposedly 'liberal' voice on the panel!)
Kerry will be no different than Bush. They are 16th cousins.
1.Neither will do anything about illegal aliens
2.Both will raise taxes on the middle class
3.Both will keep outsourcing jobs via free trade
4.Both support the unconstititional Patriot Act 1 & 2
5.Both will enact a draft in 05
Let's stop the killing of our young Americans, to fight Israels' Wars! TV News is for IDIOTS! TV News LIES! Bush engineered 911! Israel supplied the Government with the intelligence on 911!
george bush owes his legitimacy to a fraudulent election. on 9/11 he had an opportunity to bring this country together. his record speaks for itself. a failed domestic policy. a failed foreign policy. he says stay the course even though the course is headed to the edge overlooking the abyss. i for one will not follow a fool who has no capacity for truth.
John Kerry clearly wins on the facts as well as presence.By the way anything on Bushes back this time?
On the Debates: Bush came up stronger the second round, but Kerry is still ahead on the issues.
On the Bush administration in general: More and more evidence is appearing that shows Bush knowingly lied about the Iraq threat during the State of the Union speech. If lying while performing one of the explicit duties of the Constitution isn't grounds for impeachment, I don't know what is.
If the public is not intelligent enough to vote him out of office, the next step is impeachment in the House and removal from office by the Senate.
I'd much rather see Bush lose the election however, so we can get rid of the whole Republican adminstration.
Bush is an ignorant front man for the neocons and the right wing corporate fascists. Unfortunately approximately 50 percent of the U.S. electorate loves fascism, only they think it's patriotism and nationalism. This dangerous group of treasonous fascists have to go!
Tired of bleeding-heart neo-conservatives? Wonder what's so Republican about a $500 billion budget deficit? Happy for freedom in Iraq (while freedom of speech is prohibited in Boston and NYC?) Rather have a punk-ass, or someone who faced bullets and tells the truth?
I was shocked at how aggressive and belligerent Bush seemed. A real bully. I wonder how this will play with 40-ish women like myself? He was like my friend's domineering and boorish husband. She should leave him and we should leave Bush. Kerry, on the other hand, seemed to really listen and be respectful of the questioners and the audience. He didn't scream or berate anyone. I felt like Bush was screaming at me and he seemed to lack grace and self control. Bush scared me. AJR
Michael Moore left a huge part out of his movie. It was Israel behind 911, not the Saudis. Why would Moore tell the truth when his agent is brother to congressman Rahm Emmanuel. Emmanuel is paid by Israel, on how to vote through AIPAC. Israel runs this nation and half of congress is paid off by Israeli ineterst lobbyist like AIPAC. Was'nt AIPAC being investigated for receiving classified info from spies in the Pentagon, then giving the info to Israel?
All these people get paid by AIPAC and more.
Bush, George $37,200
Dean, Howard $6,000
Gephardt, Richard D C $173,295
Kerry, John $4,750
Lieberman, Joseph $239,758
Sharpton, Rev. Al $2,000
What country would be best served from a tragedy like 911? Israel! Next Bush and Kerry want war with Syria, and Iran, etc. North Korea to make it look like we are not fighting all wars in the middle east against Israels' enemies. Donald Rumsfeld, the US secretary of defense, was on the board of technology giant ABB when it won a deal to supply North Korea with two nuclear power plants. The Swiss-based ABB told swissinfo that Rumsfeld was involved with the company in early 2000, when it netted a $200 million contract with Pyongyang. The ABB contract was to deliver equipment and services for two nuclear power stations at Kumho, on North Korea’s east coast. Rumsfeld-who is one of the Bush administration’s most strident "hardliners" on North Korea—was a member of ABB’s board between 1990 and February 2001.
Rumsfeld is a huge supporter of Israel too. Israel is NOT our friend. Any Congress Member who puts Israel 1st and the USA 2nd, needs to be thrown out of office. Presidents as well.
When are people in this country going to get a clue? Hopefully before the next faked terror attack by our own government, with help once again from our friend Israel.
In case this is not clear. Bush and Israel murdered our fellow Americans on 911. The 911 Commission was a whitewash! Only idiots who believe the News on TV, believe the 911 Commission Report. All media in the USA is controlled by Israeli interests. Our government as well, is controlled by Israeli-Zionist-Interests. Slowly people are waking up. When will you?

This is a message of hope from your Canadian neighbours.... Do yourselves and the whole world a favour and vote for Kerry, not Bush. The creep's been nothing more than a rotten liar. He's been cheating all mid-class Americans for the past 4 years (starting by stealing an election, no less!!) Remember that you're no longer voting for the best guy, but voting for the guy who's gonna hurt you the least. Vote Kerry, spread the word, and if you're still undecided, go see Farenheit 9/11 and start watching THE DAILY SHOW with John Stewart.
Keep Bush out!!!!
I think it is quite apparent at this time that Mr. Bush is way beyond his capacity on any level and needs to go back to being a rich, ignorant cracker.
Kerry won handily. He's very articulate and presidential than the incumbent. I like a president who
is cool and can handle pressures.
Kerry. Bush was pathetic. A spoiled rich brat
Bush is so filled with self-delusion it is time to "seriously" question his fitness for office?
The soul of the planet is up for grabs. Our best chance lies with Kerry. Bush is violence personified.
Fix those "Denver Post" poll results! As of 12:44 a.m., they have Kerry @ 92% to Bush's 8%!
In our "sound bite" and "sloganeering" political culture, marketing is everything.
Kerry is more commanding and confident in delivering facts in a roundtable format. Bush is shrill and vocally reaching for compelling effect. Kerry had an unfortunate habit of turning away from the camera to address a selected segment of the audience. Superficial stuff should not matter, but in image defining America it does.
The past 2 debates, the challengers have actually scored better and more decisively in 1st 1/2 topics regarding foreign policy despite misssed opportunities. The Kerry-Edwards cmapaign needs to study the incumbent detracting talking points to be better prepared for the next debate. That could be a knockout blow.
Kerry-Edwards should have dealt with the "87 billion" issue up front and definitively before tonight.
FINALLY, the issue of Bush's hypocrisy and broken promises from the '00 debates were presented and revealed by Kerry tonight. The Democrats would have fared better had these glaring discrepancies been featured in at least 1 campaign ad by now.
Hurrah! Great numbers in favor of Senator Kerry...I love it, I love it!
He WILL be our next REAL president!
Bush failed to prevent 9/11.
Bush failed to catch bin Laden
Bush has yet to create a single job
Bush's policies benefit his donors first, average Americans suffer
Bush has plunged us into a deadly quagmire in Iraq for no good reason
Bush has defunded medicare, medicaid, and social security, orchestrating a genocide of elderly people to be felt in coming years
Bush has alienated us from the world
I don't think America can take 4 more years of this
I've never been a cocaine user, but I know a lot about it. Bush looked under the influence to me. His jaw jutted side to side a lot and his eyes darted all over--both signs of cocaine use. Perhaps that contributed to his more aggressive performance tonight. Rove also obviously saw to it that he was better rehearsed. But not taking any chances, Rove did damage control after the debate with gorilla Hannity, to tout his boy and smear Kerry as fast and furiously as his sputtering fat face could go. I'll be so glad when we all, regardless of party, get these bums and their cronies out, and restore dignity to our government.
Wangmo
Ok, so now here's the question we must all ask ourselves;
Do we continue to let individuals run this country, or the world for that matter, that are following the blueprint to bring on the rapture? These people are nuts! Bring on the rapture so that they can sit at the right hand of god and watch us burn. Let's create our own world, a beautiful reality, not follow these dilusions that christ shall return and destroy all of those that doesn't fit what they believe. These people are hallucinating.... The scary thing about it is we create our reality. This is the vision that these people have. Do we pick this reality or the reality that true spiritual people want to experience as humankind ...
I believe that we have to clean house and try to start anew to gain the respect we once had. There has to be a major over-haul of our foreign policies. Above all, we have to remember that our loyalty should be towards America, our beloved country, who is paying too dearly in blood and treasure for the greed of a few. Vote against INCUMBENTS maybe we can someday have honest and caring people really elected by us and representing us, we the people, instead of their corporate contributors.
GOD SAVE AMERICA
Bush created thousands of jobs, but of course they've been all sent over seas.WAKE THE FUCK AMERICA!! BUSH HAS NO CARE FOR THE AVERAGE CITIZEN.BUSH HAS SPIT AND WIPPED HIS ASS ON YOUR FLAG AND CONTINUES TO PISS DOWN YOUR THROATS WITH THIS HAGWASH ABOUT SADDAMS WMD WHEN HE HAD NONE.IF YOU DO NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT BUSH THIS TIME AROUND I CAN GUARANTEE FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET THAT YOU WILL ALL GET A RUDE AWAKENING AND IT DEFINATELY WILL NOT BE A PRETTY SITE
Wangmo... I would agree with you that bush appeared to be on some kind of stimulate. Perhaps it was cocaine, but I doubt it. Never know what they may resort to though. Their was alot of talk about bush appearing wore down in the last debate. Of course little bushie goes to bed early so maybe he can't function to well after 9pm, which begs the question;"What happens if we're attacked by terrorists at night?" A couple of sniffs and we'll be invading another country. Eerily familiar of how we went to war with Iraq. Hmmmm....
But again back to the question of what stimulant lil bushie was fed to keep his sleepy eyes wide. Well I can tell you that the jaw popping is certainly a tick that develops after using cocaine. Once you pick up this tick, anytime you do anykind of speed stimulate this tick flares up. Takes some ephedrine and it'll trigger that tick. People that have not used cocaine before would not have this tick.
The only way to save America is to vote Bush in so he can really destroy the country. Maybe then people will wake up and demand real lasting change.
Bush is so oblivious to truth and reality I have to wonder if he isn't in the beginning stages of senility or alzheimers. Remember Reagan towards the end of his presidency....it's not like the public was told about it till after he was out of office. I would really like to believe that there is some rational, logical explanation for Bush being so out-of-touch.
Anyone who has any doubts on who has the experience to lead this Nation in our times ... needs to see 'Going Upriver' in Theaters now, and on DVD on Oct 19th. Very relevant and prophetic to todays sitituation in Iraq. You only have 25 days to make up your mind. See it and pass it on .... ps: Kerry in another league than Bush. Need I say more. :)

Bush: "I've got a plan to increase the wetlands by 3 million."
Orwell heard that one buddy.
When Bush says he is increasing the wetlands by 3 million he means 3 million acres of farm will be flooded by new dam projects in California
Kerry won without a single doubt. Bush is an embarassment! I cackle myself when I hear this guys talk. Any normal person can see that he has a screw loose. How the hell was he elected? Damn thats right he was selected.
See Bush's Latest Battle Plan

His numbers mean nothing so why even bother with a measure.
This website needs a little help in the debate poll. This is Roy Blunt country and Bush country so give the debate to Kerry by going to this url and vote http://www.news-leader.com/today/index.shtml
You guys just don't get it. Bush is going to win. You can tell he knows he's going to win. Stalin said "It's not the voters that count, but the people who count the votes who count."
Bush must have ingested too much caffeine, coke, PCP and a little hootch for the second debate. He disgraced himself by acting too edgy and being hostile.
Bush has
no sense of American history or articulate language that John Kerry provided in his arguments.
Bush mentioned Bin Laden once Kerry mentioned him more than twice. Kerry knew who attacked us on 9/11. Bush just seemed to forget.
For God's sake do not keep Bush in the house.
Wow I think the right questions were asked and we saw that our President gets all worked up over a little debate. How would he handle himself if a leader of another country challeneged his opion? I don't know but, I can't beleive he treats foreign leaders better than his own people who elect him, because I feel like the leaders of our country are put in a position with politics that if they decide they were wrong they can't admit it instead they have to be stubborn otherwise they're a flip-flopper and at what point do you fess up and say listen I made a mistake. I mean your human aren't you??? Why do we expect our politicains to be perfect. Until we get rid of the rhetoric of modern politics then we will never move in the right direction as efficiently as possible. And we will have Presidents who will stick to their guns only becuase they have spent so much money and campaign time on calling his opponent "Human". I would hope the President has enough ground to lead his campaign on facts of his hsitory in office? All I hear is Kerry isnt consistent. C'mon Mr. Pres please tell me you have more than that?
There is hope that the imbecile Neocon war puppet will be voted out!
When the American voters get more than a choice between 2 multi-millionaire, SCULL&BONES BROTHERS...who both serve the intrest of Big-Business, maybe more of us will care, who "won" the debate(sic)...

as a canadian it scares me that it appears bushco will leave iraq without the oil,so we have tio worry hell come after ours, since his decimated dollar wont buy much.
Bush did a much better job peddlings his lies to the public this time around compared to last, but you'd have to be semi-retarded to actually believe what he's saying. Kerry did a better job of presenting his arguments (again) and far more of what he had to say was truthful and valid. He won.
OH - and could the PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIC who keeps spamming posts about Zionist conspiracies please just shut the hell up and go hide in his closet from the UN helicopters while wearing his tin-foil hat to stop the aliens from reading his mind?!? Go! Run! Before they get you!
Guess what? The "powers that be" don't need ridiculously convoluted conspiracies like the ones you propose in order to achieve their goals in this world. They don't even have to hide what it is their doing typically because they're the ones who make and enforce "the rules". If you'd ever spent even 15 minutes around the very wealthy or politically connected, you'd understand that they don't need to do absurd things like crash airplanes into buildings (like the relatively powerless and disenfranchised terrorists do) to justify their use of their power to you, or anyone. If 9/11 didn't happen, Bush and pals would have latched onto some other convenient excuse for invading Iraq or doing whatever it is they decide to do.
Israel controls the USA? That's a joke. If we were to *somehow* succeed in stabilizing Iraq and installing a troop presence permanently in bases, and if we had an even slightly more moderate president than Bush (who is a nutty evangelical who puts some stock in the vague notion that Christ will come back if Israel has Jerusalem)... Well, you'd see foreign aid to Israel CUT, our bulldog support for Israel at the UN VANISH, and they'd be told to get their goddamn house in order and solve the Palestinian problem NOW so people stop blaming America for it and trying to blow us up for that reason.
Or, you could just stay convinced that you're somehow in possession of information and secrets about this big global conspiracy, one so big that it has nearly everyone in the world fooled and totally brainwashed, but for some reason they can accomplish THAT amazing feat of deceiving 6 billion people, yet they somehow can't manage to SHUT YOU UP (kill you, whatever) to prevent you from revealing their nefarious plans... Go see a psychologist dude.
KICK ALL REPUBLICAN LIARS OUT OF OFFICE! IT IS NOT JUST THE LYING BUSH IDIOT TONIGHT ON TV, BUT THE ENTIRE CABAL OF LIARS AND CRIMINALS IN THIS ADMINISTRATION.... NO - BUSH WILL NOT WIN -- BECAUSE WE, THE PEOPLE WON'T LET HIM.... EVEN IF HE STEALS THIS NEXT ELECTION OR "RIGS" IT WITH FRAUDULENT VOTING MACHINES OR THUGS WHO HARASS VOTERS AT THE VOTING POLLS, AN IMPEACHMENT PROCESS IS ALREADY SNOWBALLING INTO PLACE.... ANYONE READY FOR BUSH-GATE, UM, NIXON-GATE # 2 AND TRICKY DICK # 2'S IMPEACHMENT??? THEY'RE ALREADY LINING UP AT THE GALLOWS TO WATCH THEM HANG.... JUST LET THESE LYING PATHETIC IDIOTS WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH BUSH TRY TO BULLY YOUR CONFIDENCE INTO THINKING WE, THE PEOPLE CAN'T WIN... IT'S NOT TRUE!!! BECAUSE WHEN WE, THE PEOPLE DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, WE GO RIGHT AROUND IT -- NO CRYING OVER SPILT MILK OR GIVING UP, NO WAY -- WE ARE ALREADY WORKING ON WATERGATE # 2 SHOULD TRICKY DICK # 2 AND HIS PET POODLE BUSHIE STEAL THE ELECTION AGAIN... HAPPY WITCH-HUNTING - AND REMEMBER NOT TO GIVE IN TO THESE PRO-BUSH BULLIES EVER. THEY'RE JUST SCARED LITTLE WEENIE CHICKEN S***TS.
This President has a vocabulary of 300 words and his handlers just can't seem to train him for more. Sen. Kerry wins hands down.
Every time I see President Bush speaking or debating I can't believe how low we've set the bar for our leaders. To put it simply, the man is a disgrace,an embarrassment, and liar. The only people who are worse are those who would inflict him on our country and our world for a second term.
If we let Kerry into office, there is no way America can successfully end this war. I am not saying that Kerry does not have merit. America needs to finish what it started and changing presidents now will create havoc. We all know Bush's strength is not in debating - and so does he. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses. Bush is a great diplomat with sincerity. I am not sure that these are Kerry's qualities.
WHAT NOT A OPEN FORUM???
I saw all the meetings--sad affairs in America. The moderator on friday was a dud.Ya!--no fix--my ass.He gathered 148 questions(days ago) and chose 20 and let hand picked American fat slobs ,to ask them.
Kerry--I'M going to fix Iran--you ASS!.This mole for Israel is going to be no-better then Dick-head Bush. How many Americans know that Kerry promised the Jews--Iraq is ours and for Israel. How is it that Kerry can hide his Jewishness behand another religion. He is a Jew!-- JOHN KOCH (COHEN) not Kerry.Has anyone considered in question -why so many jews are in control?
Wake-up America, the debits are a scam.maybe Kerry is better then the Bushit but all have an ZIONIST agenda
I suggest all get to see the film documentary called
" THE WAR OF HIDDEN DESERT STORM"
IsraOil-hide your boys mama--the jews want another war!
Debate #2 seems like Andy Taylor vs Barney Fife .Bush came out strong and at least half way intelligent, but Kerry pulled a rope-a-dope, got George all rattled and pissed.Kerry remained calm and in controll, Bush morphed into Barney Fife on crack. Bubye Bushie, You're toast! We need a constutional amendment banning any Bush family member from politics for at least 100 years.
I'm British and I'm disgusted that Bush is quoting Tony Blair and the British people as being a supporter of his. Come and visit if you doubt this. Everyone here hates Bush and wants him gone! Victory for Kerry!
Bush looked like a used car salesman trying to sell us a lemon. He was fake, insincere and not believable. Kerry was steady and firm.
Bush must practice debating with 3rd graders (no intentional insult to all the 7-8 year olds out there). However, it just seems that the Bush attitude/platitude, is "you're bad", expecting John Kerry to respond with, "no, you're bad" to go on ad infinitum.
There was one point in which Bush actually seemed to make a good point. He talked about how he met with generals to determine how to win the war in Iraq. Bush's "good point" when Kerry retorted it was true that "generals win the war, but Presidents win the peace."
Check-mate
The lady who asked the question about stem cell research gave Bush a chance to rave a little about the ethics of "destroying life in order to save life." Isn't that what WAR is anyway? If it is NEVER ethical to destroy a clump of cells that MIGHT have developed into a person one day to save the life or improve the health of a person who is LIVING NOW, then how can it EVER be ethical to drop bombs on buildings containing even one innocent person, even (as in the case of Hiroshime) to prevent battles that would have killed millions more? This is not consistent, folks!
Jesus to Bush: what part of "love your enemies and resist not evil" don't you understand?
Everyone allready knows that Bush lies.
Kerry wants to tell the truth.
Ha.. tell us something that is a lie but isn't in the public domain/on the internet.
Oops!
Kerry won, the weasel Bush lost
The President tries to use his so-called "affable good nature" to overcome his ignorance of facts and basic surly attitude.
The reaction on the face of the woman who asked about stem cell research and the gentleman who asked about the environment, the shock when they heard the President say he supported stem cell and protected the environment(a good steward" was priceless.
The President, last night looked like a trapped and desperate animal. His body language was that of a teenager who was caught doing wrong and was trying to use intimidation to get out of it. This was a frightening experience.
Kerry wins, no doubt about it. Bush's impulsive and un-presidential behavior during the debate says more about his policies than anything he or Kerry could say. I am wondering, however, why our Libertarian or Constitutionalist Candidates are not heard from?
Mr. Bush exhibited his ongoing style of the typical little man's syndrome; I saw only one change in his demeanor and that was the clenching and grinding of his teeth rather than the continuous scowl. Mr. Kerry the consistently informed, intelligent gentleman. Please WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!
Bush scares the hell out of me!
Please save our country and our democracy. Please vote for John Kerry.
Bush is clearly coming apart. This view was stated by Alec Baldwin on Jon Stewart recently. Clearly, as Bush and Co. continue to come apart, it is time for the American people to rise up and vote for Kerry-Edwards and begin the long pull out of this dive. It is time for revolution, now!
Kerry definitely wins this one. Bush has already made the same mistake his father did that cost him his re-election. His demeanor shows that he is out of touch with the peoples of the United States, with their needs & believes.
WE NEED TO GO AFTER THE LYING TV MEDIA "PUNDITS" WHO WERE CALLING THIS A "TIE" IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS
Every one of the networks' resident idiot pundits called this a "tie," giving new meaning to the word. How could it be a tie when Kerry was calm, cool, and collected, and Bush was manic, hyped-up, all but yelling, looked totally insecure?
How could it be a tie when Bush dodged every uncomfortable question, simply not answering most of the questions posed to him, while Kerry answered every question posed to him, showing mastery of the material, and with good answers?
How could it be a tie if Bush's "gut" way of making decisions was on display, contrasted with Kerry's obviously thoughtful, intelligent way of approaching questions. His response on the issue of stem cells was emblematic, full understanding of the issue, sensitivity to the viewpoint of the question asker, intelligent, thoughful answer?
How could it be a tie when on substance, Kerry had concrete plans for job creation, health care coverage and costs, energy independence, and Bush had a few platitudes to throw at it which don't add up to a hill of beans?
How could it be a tie when Bush was clearly flailing at Kerry, saying wild things like their cooked up numbers for how often Kerry has alleged voted for or against taxes, while Kerry coolly responded with the relevant facts of the matter?
How could it be a tie when Bush confirmed that he is a serial self-denier by refusing to acknowledge a single mistake, not only in going to war, but in how it has been prosecuted, when even top Republicans are saying, and in public, that Iraq is a much worse mess because of mistakes in the occupation, and Kerry has just reminded the audience of their statements, and Bush still denies a single mistake? What kind of leadership does this reveal?
When judges judge events in the Olympics and other international competitions, they don't just have one overall impressionistic score, they score for a number of different, specific things. But the idiot pundits failed to say WHY they thought it was a tie, and never even suggested that the two should be compared on a number of different topics, like the ones I list above--because if they had, the hands-down winner would be obvious.
So, this campaign, we, all of us, need to immediately start a campaign of letter writing, emailing, and I would add phone calling to complain to the editorial offices of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and yes, even FOX, saying that calling a smashing victory for one candidate a tie is not objectivity, but just the opposite, that if one candidate did demonstrably better than the other, objectivity consists in pointing out how they contrasted on things like did they answer the questions asked them, did they give specifics, did they show thoughtfulness and mastery of the issues, etc. The network evaluation last night was awful, and typical, and it must be opposed. Let's go for it.

A vote for Bush? Not in your wildest dreams. For four years we have had a puppet with basically a 7th grade education. The world knows Cheney calls the shots. Wanna buy some wood?? PLEASE stop this stupid man.
It felt like Bush was yelling, shouting at me. I was appalled to see him jump off his stool and begin to reply boisterously without waiting for the moderator -- he must have done that at least 4-5 times. How rude! No, more than that, it was a crude performance from the man who thinks he is President. I have been ashamed to be American for almost three years now. Why does Bush think it is a badge of honor to unilaterally invade another country and then state that he would never participate in the International Criminal Court? Since when is our country the only land in the world with the right to do whatever we want with absolutely no accountability?
In contrast, and in spite of his misleading here and there with some numbers, Kerry at least has decorum and the kind of presence that inspires confidence. I thought his reply to the woman who asked about abortion was perfectly wonderful. He revealed that personally he is against abortion but stated quite firmly that the subject was not something that should be legislated. Kerry understands the importance of the separation between church and state.
In summary, Bush is a name-dropping, almost rabid dog man who looks like a bully. Kerry appears as a self-contained, educated and caring person with years of wisdom etched on his face.
To JFrost:
Didn't you mean to say; Look at their records and see who has done the most "TO" America? And certainly that would be Bush. America has never been so screwed by a president in our history. This man doen't work "For America" he works for "THE MONEY".
Time to wake up and get busy.
Brooks chided Kerry for saying that he (Kerry) could possibly balance the budget and do all the programs he said he would do. Then mysteriously Brooks had nothing to say about the bushits claim that he would balance the budget in 5 years, although everything I have read says that bushits plan would at the best take 10-ish years and most likely would never balance the budget. I think it would serve Brooks and his buddies to just completely steer clear of any statements that contained the word "Balanced", if you know what I mean.
Its very obvious that, if reelected, Bush plans to keep the country on the same ill-fated path for another 4 years.
The fact that he again refused to admit making any mistakes proves it.
it's amazing that anyone could POSSIBLY vote for bush after watching the debates... it's mind numbing.
ONE MORE DOG AND PONY SHOW WITH BUSH SUCKING THE HIND ONE. NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO TO MAKE HIM LOOK GOOD HE STILL COMES OUT THE SAME. TOO BAD THEY DON'T PUT AS MUCH TIME IN SOLVING THE NATIONS PROBLEMS AS THEY DO IN TRYING TO MAKE A SILK PURSE OUT OF A SOWS EAR. RE-ELECT BUSH..HOW CAN YOU DO THAT? HE HAS NEVER BEEN ELECTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The only way GeeDubya benefits this from debate is because expectations of his performance were so low, particularly after the first debacle in Miami. Well then, by that standard, if I expect Senator Kerry to doze off during the debate, then quite clearly Kerry won!!
He even mocked Kerry when he pointed out that, under the classification of "small business owner," GeeDubya would be considered a small businessman, which demonstrated how dishonest those statistics are about the tax benefits for small businesses. GeeDubya is either willfully ignorant, or completely clueless, as to how those "small business owner" classifications are grossly misleading.
This is a pattern he is following - GeeDubya claims he doesn't understand Kerry's stance on Iraq, which, if anyone reads his statements in the Senate prior to the war, Kerry has been steadfast and consistent in how this President should have approached it.
Quite clearly, GeeDubya is in far over his abilities, and Kerry is exposing this guy for the inept, fraudulent president he is.
Anyone who thinks that not having a grasp of issues, and not being able to argue policy without mocking and misleading, is a debate winner, then they can bury their heads in the sand and believe GeeDubya fared well last night. These people deserve the government they vote for.
It's a real shame more people didn't realize the liar Bush was 4 years ago. His daddy messed things up, what made people think he would do any better. If the election in Florida gets messed up again this year you know it was fixed by dear old brother Jeb all along! I didn't vote for him 4 years ago and I'm not now! Mickey Mouse would make a better president then Bush!
Everyone needs to watch Fahrenheit 911 before election day. Especially anyone thinking of voting for Bush. It's a real eye opener!
Take off eh!
Seems that our third world drugs aren't good enough for Bush...but if you read this he's got no problem with oil from anywhere.

I neglected to mention how lame it was that GeeDubya ducked the last question about naming three mistakes he made as President.
"I made some mistakes in appointing people, but I'm not going to name them. I don't want to hurt their feelings on national TV."
What a cop-out. This is our big, bad "War Preznit," and he ducks a simple, puff-ball question?
How can GeeDubya win a war and not be able to admit a mistake?
How many of you GeeDubya supporters would want someone like that in your back-yard at a cookout who hides behind other people in order to duck a question?!? He did the exact same thing during Vietnam. What a man.
Had Clinton done that exact same thing, you would be howling to the moon!!
Please.
I'm not an American, though I did watch the 3 debates - 2 Kerry-Bush and one Edwards-Cheney.
How gulible you people are. Bush-Cheney lie and you beleive them. Much of the world detests USA because of these two.
Kick 'em out...
Kerry just kicked ass again, but even more so. Much more effective. Much more "in touch" which the questioners, definitive in his responses and relentless in his attack on the negative "achievements" of the past 4 years. Kerry just cut a swath and opened floodgates that Busch couldn't possibly counter.
Kerry was just so clearly a man of the people, whereas Busch (sic) continued to be an arrogant divisive bully. What a jerk! He literally cannot help being a stupid prick loser, who despite the enormous power he (illegitimately)commands is yet a robotic idiot. He is seriously defective, unhinged from any accountability, any sense of "realpolitic".
Will someone give this guy his walking papers and send him back to the ranch? We don't need him. He's presided over a totally negative 4 years. Death and destruction are his legacy. Neglect and lies are his legacy. Empty rhetoric and unfulfilled promises are his legacy. Divisiveness and ideological presumption are his legacy. Alienated from the rest of the world and alone with our guns is his legacy. A people invading and killing those we know not. When do we stop killing people we do not know?
I find it interesting that in each pres. debate Bush brings up the International Court and that the US will not join. Could Bush be afraid that acts of his administration mignt be considered
criminal?
Kerry was clearly the more presidential; Bush appears as an attack, immature and defensive pugilist.
Kerry lost.
His hallmark "yes-but" dogged him thru the whole debate.
A yes-but is a NO
He has NO position on anything, and if he becomes president, we are all in trouble.
An internationalist "new world order type", Kerry will deny the US its national interests and pander to the countries that want to kill you and me.
Fuck Kerry, hes a commie
I really think Bush lost the votes of the slave-owning, plantation owners by mentioning that he would select "strict constructionist" judges and mentioned the Dred Scott decision. But I think all those plantation owners are, well, dead.
Did he even know what he was talking about? I was visiting a friend yesterday and we watched the debate together and there were several times when Bush spoke and we'd look at each other trying to figure out what the hell Bush was talking about.
Part of his response to the question regarding his environment record was, "I've got a plan to increase the wetlands by 3 million." 3 million what?
At an earlier point Bush said, "We've got battling green eye shades." This was a rebuttle to Kerry regarding healthcare and not raising taxes. What is Bush talking about.
There were several statements like this along with his winking, smirking, shouting, and seemingly rude and loud behaviour which was rather distressing (to say the least). And this is the President? Nope. Cheney is the President. This is a puppet.
KERRY WON. Heck, the guy speaks complete sentences and can think on his feet. All Bush can do is whine that he's not being treated fairly. At least he didn't talk about how "hard" his job is. And as for the people here who are Bush supporters, I just have one question...WHY?
It can't be the economy, 'cause that's in the crapper. No matter what Bush says, he was given an enormous surplus (by a democrat, by the way) and didn't just use that up, but sent us back to deficits (just like a Republican). Even if you count a recession, and a war, if you are fiscally responsible, you would hold on to the surplus as you saw the economy start going down and you certainly wouldn't start a war on false pretenses.
It can't be the matter of security. After all, with evidence of an atttack coming at him from everyone from the outgoing Clinton Administration to the August 6 PDB, Bush ignored every one. Heck, he and Dick were too busy planning to go to Iraq and selling of the US to the higest bidder! And that ain't just rhetoric, that's fact. Oh yeah, and how about the $40 million he gave the Taliban in 2001, just 4 months before al Queda attacked? Seems to me that puts him right n the league of "consorting with terrorists" (not to mention that it was illegal - there was an executive order signed by Clinton that NO ONE from the US was to have any dealings with the Taliban).
Aw, heck, I could go on and on. Bush is a disaster (i.e. clueless moron) and Cheney is an evil bastard. Both of them don't give a whit for your security or mine. Bush has his Texaas ranch to retreat to (or a school in Florida) and Cheney has his "bunker".
People, you can't be afraid. That's what the terrorists want, and it's what Bush/Cheney want. Fear wins. FDR said, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself." And when you ask yourself WHO is better to face the fear, just remember who took boats down the dangerous rivers of Vietnam, earning 5 mendals for it, and who was drinking, drugging and screwing around, eventually getting was suspended from flying (for refusing a physical/drug test), and then went AWOL from the TANG? It's so obvious it's laughable.
Maybe there's a remote island somewhere, a place where we can send Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, Rummy, and all the clueless Americans who think they are actually doing a good job. You can go there, declare Bush King (though I think Cheney would be a bit miffed), and wait for the rapture. Meanwhile, the rest of us can get down to the hard work of taking back - the America the Founding Fathers so wosely created - a place of by and for the PEOPLE.
Geez, why is it every time a Republican gets in they screw things up, leaving a mess for Democrats (and other patriots) to fix?
At first, I was kind of disappointed in Kerry not nailing Bush's lie after lie after lie. Yet, I then thought of how Al Gore did that in 2000 and the press picked on Gore for being "too hard" on the simpleton.
Then after reviewing this debate and the first one, Kerry has Bush set up for the knockout in the next one. It's like your watching a masterful boxer toy with someone who should have never put on boxing gloves, let alone be in the ring.
Kerry has already exposed Bush as a fraud in the first two debates. Yet, Kerry couldn't do it bluntly because the rightwing media and the Rove spin machine would have just turned it against Kerry. (Similarly, Edwards exposed Cheney as the fraud he is).
Kerry's calmness, forthrightness and sternfully putting the argument back in Bush's lap has definitely worked for him. There are no sighs, no disinterested looks, no cheap shots which the rightwing media would be waiting to trumpet throughout the land.
The more truths Kerry and Edwards put out about Bush, the more Bush digs his own grave by denying it and/or claiming he made the right decision.
It's fascinating to see the Rove machine unravel.
As a Canadian for the life of me I can not see how anybody can or will vote for a lying person like Bush.
Lies, Lies & more Lies. Please do not re-elect the deep in the Bush tell me some more LIES.
A president that wants to go get approval from the UN for any little thing is no leader...
Kerry is a weak man... but could you imagine having that Edwards fellow running things if Kerry died?
An ambulance chaser as president that cannot even follow some simple debate rules? Edwards has NO experience, except ruining the US healthcare system.
Come on, where is your thinking process people!
And back to the UN... what a ineffective group of criminals... the oil for food debacle is the largest fraud in history in dollar terms !
If Kerry is elected, we can expect a nuke in a major city, and Kerry will withdraw from the world stage... doing EXACTLY what the islamic death cult worshippers want.
Kerry is a dangerous dangerous man. Bush is a simpleton, but at least he knows what it takes to have the US survive the WW3 we are in.
Make no mistakes, this is WW3, and we are in 1938. Kerry will be our Chamberlain if we elect this dork.
Bush and Kerry both must go America. They are both behind 9-11. The usa government no longer servers the people. The usa really needs to take a good hard look at what is really going on. Do not be fooled into picking a team and being a mindless cheerleader. You may also want to look into buying gold/silver while the price is still cheap.
take care all,
love yourself
love those who do not look like you.
love everyone.

How could "Pat" post that nonsense unless he/she is a Republican operative?
Bush lied about not owning a Timber company, Cheney lied about his connection between Hussein and Al Qaeda.
John Kerry is a smart man who has done good things for Massachusetts. When elected President he can do great things for our world.
Oh, and by the way, he won both debates. Did you see Bush's funny faces on the split screen?
Bush excels at playing the schoolyard bully, but couldn't remember his timber company ownership, his opponent's name or much of anything to say. He was rude to the moderator (and the public), refusing to honor the debate rules. He was petulant, smarmy and stupid. And the only mistake he could admit was one he couldn't discuss. Bye, George
http://www.mastery-of-life.com
In an earlier post “AJR” mentioned that in the 2nd debate Bush reminded her of her friend’s boorish husband. Let’s see whether Bush’s acts as president back up that perception:
1, He squandered the family’s savings [the budget surplus].
2, Wondered out into the night, drunk with power, and picked unprovoked fights with strangers [Iraq].
3, Did crazy unreasonable things, just to impress his buddies [neo-cons, oil companies, Halliburton, religious fundamentalists] - no matter how much we, the family pleaded with him [ignoring protests about abortion rights, the war etc.].
4, Never adequately communicated with his family [record-few press conferences, canned answers, stubbornness in the face of criticism].
5, If he said anything about his plans for the family he delivered it with a “father knows best” attitude: demanding blind faith in his decisions and dismissing dissent.
6, Alienated the neighbors with his obnoxious behavior [causing our fast-diminishing standing in the world]. And above all:
7, His negligence was largely responsible for a great tragedy that hit the family - and his first instinct wasn’t to run and help the family members [ignoring CIA warnings in the summer of 2001; his 7 minutes of inaction at the elementary school on 9/11].
I think so.
Hi Everyone,
About that outburst:
When Bush jumped off his chair I recoiled, thinking, this man is clearly nuts. And he is the leader of the free world? Why do so many Americans support him (and makes excuses for him)?
Further, is this country insane? Have we collectively succumbed to the rhetoric of fear, fostered by the media, that insists Mr. Bush is our only line of defense against further terrorist attacks? If so, shall we elect him Emperor for Life? My God! George Orwell is surely rolling in his grave. We have become Oceania.
BTW: On behalf of all Americans, I apoligize to our nothern neighbors for the Canada slur.

How could a thinking person vote for hanoi-John and is vacuous pony named Edwards?
Answer? They are not thinking...
As a woman, I appreciate how this administration has improved the lot of women in these repressive Muslim countries. Kerry would disengage to the detriment of these women. Kerry is no leader.
He has a better future starting a waffle-hut franchise with his wifes money.
Canada = terrorist campground
The only way anyone can possibly say that Bush won last night's debate is if they are comparing his performance not with Kerry's, but with Bush's own performance in the 9/30 debate. And even then, the only thing he did better was to be a bit more animated than he was in the first debate. Kerry in a landslide! - it's coming!!!
Mary,
Its Kerry UNDER a landside.
He would be safer for us there.
Check the poll on
"Campaigns and Elections"
it seems Kerry is in the lead there too.
John Kerry clearly won the debate. Holy cats! people, wake up! How can you not see that? Envision a line drawn down through the halfway mark on the IQ bell curve graph. If 100 IQ is the "average" range, then all the people represented in the bottom half support Bush, all the people above, support Kerry. Really, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Bush is a whacked out, completely out of touch, petulant idiot. John Kerry will work to restore intelligence and competence to the office of the President.
Thank you Morgan. However, it is not you that needs to apologize for the slur. It is your President. And he wonders why he has alienated most of America's long-time allies? We in the great, white North don't blame the American people for that madman. And we know that he wasn't elected in the first place. But it sure is important to make sure that he's gone after this election, before he causes much, much more harm to the world.
Hey Martin,
If you venture beyond your crib you will see that you are wrong.
And whats with you imptent creeps anyway, skewing polls with your "vote often" mantra.
Your ilk does the same with real elections too. Fraud Fraud Fraud
