Bush will tell any lie if it suits him. "Freedom" in Iraq is the biggest joke. He's also a whinger when things don't go his way.
i just tossed all my asprin's into the trash, thanks for the warning mr. bush, signed canada
Bush is a spoiled bully and bullies always lose in the end
Kerry walked away from Bush, again, in the second debate. Kerry was solid, presidential, compelling, articulate and direct. Bush was anxious, repetitive, vengeful, desparate, and out of touch. Kerry won; Bush is down by two.
According to the Internet polls, perhaps the American people are finally realizing that their president cannot think for himself. He can only remember what his handlers tell him what to say. Perhaps the American people will finally realize who really attacked the WTC, and it wasn't Saddam. Maybe they'll begin to understand that when Bush invaded Iraq, he opened a can of worms that we can't eat. Maybe they'll remember that we were warned of a mushroom cloud, and that the president didn't say that we were going to war because of Saddam's INTENT or to free the Iraqi people. He said that Saddam was a "grave and immiment threat" and he also said that all the people who were protesting the war build-up were just a "focus group." There is more reason to impeach Bush than there was to impeach Clinton. The sex lie did not kill anyone. But perhaps the American people are beginning to realize they were duped and lied to. At least, I hope so, for the sake of our troops. And the Republicans need to stop saying they are fighting in Iraq so we won't have to fight here. The terrorists just might say, "ok, we'll take it back to the United States." The administration needs to just shut up and think of an exit.
90-minute debates can never be an accurate determining factor for choosing a president! Look at their records and see who has done the most for America, and that would be President Bush!!

George Bush is a criminal and an embarrassment to us and the world. Once again we see him as he really is: a corrupt pandering thief whose handlers stole him the presidency. Would only that 9/11 didn't happen and this loser wouldn't have anything to talk about.
Kerry was articulate and pounded his message, he looked presidential, thoughtful and able to handle the job on many levels. Bush on the other hand, was rude and his arguments were the standard canned campaign stop black vs. white answers -- to me he comes off as a simpleton, with no command of the language, or an evolving thought process. Kerry in a landslide!
MSNBC, despite the responses shown on most of these unscientific viewer-response online polls, declared Bush the winner. I just finished watching the first wave of MSNBC post-debate commentary Friday night. They turned the show over to GOP political figure Pat Buchanan and GOP lawyer Ben Ginsberg so they could cheerlead for Bush.
There was not even so much as a hint of balance.
Buchanan declared Bush "defeated John Kerry handily" and went on to call him "strong, presidential and tough" with his body language saying "I won." Then Ginsberg, basically a legal activist who helped engineer the 2000 Florida election for Republicans - declared Kerry "haughty." Then Buchanan came back and confirmed it, saying Kerry appeared to be "lecturing."
There was virtually no counterweight to the pro-Bush spin. Buchanan was given almost all of the critical time and left to run wild in the key seconds following the debate. The other side got in about 12 syllables as Buchanan paused to breath in his rant.
Even conservative estimates show a dead tie. Bush "won handily?" Apparently MSNBC believes its job is to spout right-wing propaganda.

Bush is so weak the worst terrorist attack in American history happened under his watch after his minions kept the attention of the nation and intelligence agencies on trying to overthrow Bill Clinton thus keeping Clinton from focusing on national security. When Clinton was president we had prosperity and peace but now under this guy whos daddy stole the white house for him we get war and unemployment and endless fear. I am pleased Kerry has risen to the occasion. I hope he restores the Clinton fiscal policies that work so well to foster prosperity during a time of peace.
President Bush once again used public information to discredit John Kerry's stance on the issues. Who wants a leader that cannot make up his mind on what he believes. George W Bush is clearly the leader this country needs in times like this.
It's amazing that Bush doesn't care if I have health care, but he wants to save me from terrorists. He doesn't care if I live or die in poverty, but he wants to save me from terrorists. He's against abortion and values life, except the lives of innocent Iraqi children. He doesn't care about gun laws, but he wants to save me from terrorists. Go figure.
Bush and Kerry both Skulls and Bones. Israel runs the USA. Bush and Israel are the terrorists behind 911. Wake up America! Down with Zionism! Down with all Masonic Lodges!

Note to President Bush: People don't like it when you scream at them. Don't interrupt the moderator. HE gets to decide if there is an extension. And finally Mr. President, you were debating Senator KERRY, not Senator Kennedy.
When Bush was asked to name 3 mistakes,he couldn't admit he even made one! A telling answer from our Supreme Court chosen Resident who Lies about everything and admits nothing. Remember,in Arabic,Iraq means Vietnam!!!
G.W. when asked in the final question to admit three faults, admitted none once again. Kerry on the other hand showed once again that a true leader takes information and makes the right decisions, based on that information.
G.W. was rude, and did not follow the rules of the debate, NBC would have ridiculed Kerry for this, they however only chuckled at Bushes antics. GOP based media, gotta love it. I AM FROM TEXAS unlike that rat bastard BUSH.
Watch Michael Moore's 9/11 MOVIE!!!
Factcheck.org shows Bush could qualify as a small business in 2001 for his part ownership of a timber enterprise. Should we buy some wood?
Since the president seemed to have a better ability to express himself in this debate, compared to his ability in the last debate, I have to admit it was closer this time. Quite a bit from each candidate was a repeat but so were the questions. I do think the president lost many points when he stomped on the moderator, which showed a lack of respect and control, the bully appeared? He was also very loud at times. I believe Kerry still remains more thoughtful, more intelligent, has more common sense and looks more presidential. Bush still remains less credible on the facts that disprove his statements about the environment and what he has truly done, especially in regulation changes, the war in Iraq and especially the problems with terrorism, how they have increased (all the 75% they have supposedly jailed or killed have been replaced) and what he hasn't done in the three years since 9/11 to make us safer.
I agree with the poster about the right-leaning commentary on MSNBC post debate. I don't know what's happened to Buchanan - he was more balanced when he had Bill Press to keep him on an even keel!
Thank ye gods for Joe Trippi - Matthews interviewed him briefly -- he mentioned how, as with the first debate and the VP debate, the online polls quickly reflected Kerry-Edwards victories - in spite of the GOP claims that they had this huge posse, millions,
poised to flood the polls! He even mentioned dailykos earlier today...
MSNBC and the rest of the corporate media don't want to recognise it, but I'd say this surely qualifies as a Groundswell, dontcha think?
(Ron Reagan has been feeble and a disappointment, as the only supposedly 'liberal' voice on the panel!)
Kerry will be no different than Bush. They are 16th cousins.
1.Neither will do anything about illegal aliens
2.Both will raise taxes on the middle class
3.Both will keep outsourcing jobs via free trade
4.Both support the unconstititional Patriot Act 1 & 2
5.Both will enact a draft in 05
Let's stop the killing of our young Americans, to fight Israels' Wars! TV News is for IDIOTS! TV News LIES! Bush engineered 911! Israel supplied the Government with the intelligence on 911!
george bush owes his legitimacy to a fraudulent election. on 9/11 he had an opportunity to bring this country together. his record speaks for itself. a failed domestic policy. a failed foreign policy. he says stay the course even though the course is headed to the edge overlooking the abyss. i for one will not follow a fool who has no capacity for truth.
John Kerry clearly wins on the facts as well as presence.By the way anything on Bushes back this time?
On the Debates: Bush came up stronger the second round, but Kerry is still ahead on the issues.
On the Bush administration in general: More and more evidence is appearing that shows Bush knowingly lied about the Iraq threat during the State of the Union speech. If lying while performing one of the explicit duties of the Constitution isn't grounds for impeachment, I don't know what is.
If the public is not intelligent enough to vote him out of office, the next step is impeachment in the House and removal from office by the Senate.
I'd much rather see Bush lose the election however, so we can get rid of the whole Republican adminstration.
Bush is an ignorant front man for the neocons and the right wing corporate fascists. Unfortunately approximately 50 percent of the U.S. electorate loves fascism, only they think it's patriotism and nationalism. This dangerous group of treasonous fascists have to go!
Tired of bleeding-heart neo-conservatives? Wonder what's so Republican about a $500 billion budget deficit? Happy for freedom in Iraq (while freedom of speech is prohibited in Boston and NYC?) Rather have a punk-ass, or someone who faced bullets and tells the truth?
I was shocked at how aggressive and belligerent Bush seemed. A real bully. I wonder how this will play with 40-ish women like myself? He was like my friend's domineering and boorish husband. She should leave him and we should leave Bush. Kerry, on the other hand, seemed to really listen and be respectful of the questioners and the audience. He didn't scream or berate anyone. I felt like Bush was screaming at me and he seemed to lack grace and self control. Bush scared me. AJR
Michael Moore left a huge part out of his movie. It was Israel behind 911, not the Saudis. Why would Moore tell the truth when his agent is brother to congressman Rahm Emmanuel. Emmanuel is paid by Israel, on how to vote through AIPAC. Israel runs this nation and half of congress is paid off by Israeli ineterst lobbyist like AIPAC. Was'nt AIPAC being investigated for receiving classified info from spies in the Pentagon, then giving the info to Israel?
All these people get paid by AIPAC and more.
Bush, George $37,200
Dean, Howard $6,000
Gephardt, Richard D C $173,295
Kerry, John $4,750
Lieberman, Joseph $239,758
Sharpton, Rev. Al $2,000
What country would be best served from a tragedy like 911? Israel! Next Bush and Kerry want war with Syria, and Iran, etc. North Korea to make it look like we are not fighting all wars in the middle east against Israels' enemies. Donald Rumsfeld, the US secretary of defense, was on the board of technology giant ABB when it won a deal to supply North Korea with two nuclear power plants. The Swiss-based ABB told swissinfo that Rumsfeld was involved with the company in early 2000, when it netted a $200 million contract with Pyongyang. The ABB contract was to deliver equipment and services for two nuclear power stations at Kumho, on North Korea’s east coast. Rumsfeld-who is one of the Bush administration’s most strident "hardliners" on North Korea—was a member of ABB’s board between 1990 and February 2001.
Rumsfeld is a huge supporter of Israel too. Israel is NOT our friend. Any Congress Member who puts Israel 1st and the USA 2nd, needs to be thrown out of office. Presidents as well.
When are people in this country going to get a clue? Hopefully before the next faked terror attack by our own government, with help once again from our friend Israel.
In case this is not clear. Bush and Israel murdered our fellow Americans on 911. The 911 Commission was a whitewash! Only idiots who believe the News on TV, believe the 911 Commission Report. All media in the USA is controlled by Israeli interests. Our government as well, is controlled by Israeli-Zionist-Interests. Slowly people are waking up. When will you?

This is a message of hope from your Canadian neighbours.... Do yourselves and the whole world a favour and vote for Kerry, not Bush. The creep's been nothing more than a rotten liar. He's been cheating all mid-class Americans for the past 4 years (starting by stealing an election, no less!!) Remember that you're no longer voting for the best guy, but voting for the guy who's gonna hurt you the least. Vote Kerry, spread the word, and if you're still undecided, go see Farenheit 9/11 and start watching THE DAILY SHOW with John Stewart.
Keep Bush out!!!!
I think it is quite apparent at this time that Mr. Bush is way beyond his capacity on any level and needs to go back to being a rich, ignorant cracker.
Kerry won handily. He's very articulate and presidential than the incumbent. I like a president who
is cool and can handle pressures.
Kerry. Bush was pathetic. A spoiled rich brat
Bush is so filled with self-delusion it is time to "seriously" question his fitness for office?
The soul of the planet is up for grabs. Our best chance lies with Kerry. Bush is violence personified.
Fix those "Denver Post" poll results! As of 12:44 a.m., they have Kerry @ 92% to Bush's 8%!
In our "sound bite" and "sloganeering" political culture, marketing is everything.
Kerry is more commanding and confident in delivering facts in a roundtable format. Bush is shrill and vocally reaching for compelling effect. Kerry had an unfortunate habit of turning away from the camera to address a selected segment of the audience. Superficial stuff should not matter, but in image defining America it does.
The past 2 debates, the challengers have actually scored better and more decisively in 1st 1/2 topics regarding foreign policy despite misssed opportunities. The Kerry-Edwards cmapaign needs to study the incumbent detracting talking points to be better prepared for the next debate. That could be a knockout blow.
Kerry-Edwards should have dealt with the "87 billion" issue up front and definitively before tonight.
FINALLY, the issue of Bush's hypocrisy and broken promises from the '00 debates were presented and revealed by Kerry tonight. The Democrats would have fared better had these glaring discrepancies been featured in at least 1 campaign ad by now.
Hurrah! Great numbers in favor of Senator Kerry...I love it, I love it!
He WILL be our next REAL president!
Bush failed to prevent 9/11.
Bush failed to catch bin Laden
Bush has yet to create a single job
Bush's policies benefit his donors first, average Americans suffer
Bush has plunged us into a deadly quagmire in Iraq for no good reason
Bush has defunded medicare, medicaid, and social security, orchestrating a genocide of elderly people to be felt in coming years
Bush has alienated us from the world
I don't think America can take 4 more years of this
I've never been a cocaine user, but I know a lot about it. Bush looked under the influence to me. His jaw jutted side to side a lot and his eyes darted all over--both signs of cocaine use. Perhaps that contributed to his more aggressive performance tonight. Rove also obviously saw to it that he was better rehearsed. But not taking any chances, Rove did damage control after the debate with gorilla Hannity, to tout his boy and smear Kerry as fast and furiously as his sputtering fat face could go. I'll be so glad when we all, regardless of party, get these bums and their cronies out, and restore dignity to our government.
Wangmo
Ok, so now here's the question we must all ask ourselves;
Do we continue to let individuals run this country, or the world for that matter, that are following the blueprint to bring on the rapture? These people are nuts! Bring on the rapture so that they can sit at the right hand of god and watch us burn. Let's create our own world, a beautiful reality, not follow these dilusions that christ shall return and destroy all of those that doesn't fit what they believe. These people are hallucinating.... The scary thing about it is we create our reality. This is the vision that these people have. Do we pick this reality or the reality that true spiritual people want to experience as humankind ...
I believe that we have to clean house and try to start anew to gain the respect we once had. There has to be a major over-haul of our foreign policies. Above all, we have to remember that our loyalty should be towards America, our beloved country, who is paying too dearly in blood and treasure for the greed of a few. Vote against INCUMBENTS maybe we can someday have honest and caring people really elected by us and representing us, we the people, instead of their corporate contributors.
GOD SAVE AMERICA
Bush created thousands of jobs, but of course they've been all sent over seas.WAKE THE FUCK AMERICA!! BUSH HAS NO CARE FOR THE AVERAGE CITIZEN.BUSH HAS SPIT AND WIPPED HIS ASS ON YOUR FLAG AND CONTINUES TO PISS DOWN YOUR THROATS WITH THIS HAGWASH ABOUT SADDAMS WMD WHEN HE HAD NONE.IF YOU DO NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT BUSH THIS TIME AROUND I CAN GUARANTEE FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET THAT YOU WILL ALL GET A RUDE AWAKENING AND IT DEFINATELY WILL NOT BE A PRETTY SITE
Wangmo... I would agree with you that bush appeared to be on some kind of stimulate. Perhaps it was cocaine, but I doubt it. Never know what they may resort to though. Their was alot of talk about bush appearing wore down in the last debate. Of course little bushie goes to bed early so maybe he can't function to well after 9pm, which begs the question;"What happens if we're attacked by terrorists at night?" A couple of sniffs and we'll be invading another country. Eerily familiar of how we went to war with Iraq. Hmmmm....
But again back to the question of what stimulant lil bushie was fed to keep his sleepy eyes wide. Well I can tell you that the jaw popping is certainly a tick that develops after using cocaine. Once you pick up this tick, anytime you do anykind of speed stimulate this tick flares up. Takes some ephedrine and it'll trigger that tick. People that have not used cocaine before would not have this tick.
The only way to save America is to vote Bush in so he can really destroy the country. Maybe then people will wake up and demand real lasting change.
Bush is so oblivious to truth and reality I have to wonder if he isn't in the beginning stages of senility or alzheimers. Remember Reagan towards the end of his presidency....it's not like the public was told about it till after he was out of office. I would really like to believe that there is some rational, logical explanation for Bush being so out-of-touch.
Anyone who has any doubts on who has the experience to lead this Nation in our times ... needs to see 'Going Upriver' in Theaters now, and on DVD on Oct 19th. Very relevant and prophetic to todays sitituation in Iraq. You only have 25 days to make up your mind. See it and pass it on .... ps: Kerry in another league than Bush. Need I say more. :)

Bush: "I've got a plan to increase the wetlands by 3 million."
Orwell heard that one buddy.
When Bush says he is increasing the wetlands by 3 million he means 3 million acres of farm will be flooded by new dam projects in California
Kerry won without a single doubt. Bush is an embarassment! I cackle myself when I hear this guys talk. Any normal person can see that he has a screw loose. How the hell was he elected? Damn thats right he was selected.
See Bush's Latest Battle Plan

His numbers mean nothing so why even bother with a measure.
This website needs a little help in the debate poll. This is Roy Blunt country and Bush country so give the debate to Kerry by going to this url and vote http://www.news-leader.com/today/index.shtml
You guys just don't get it. Bush is going to win. You can tell he knows he's going to win. Stalin said "It's not the voters that count, but the people who count the votes who count."
Bush must have ingested too much caffeine, coke, PCP and a little hootch for the second debate. He disgraced himself by acting too edgy and being hostile.
Bush has
no sense of American history or articulate language that John Kerry provided in his arguments.
Bush mentioned Bin Laden once Kerry mentioned him more than twice. Kerry knew who attacked us on 9/11. Bush just seemed to forget.
For God's sake do not keep Bush in the house.
Wow I think the right questions were asked and we saw that our President gets all worked up over a little debate. How would he handle himself if a leader of another country challeneged his opion? I don't know but, I can't beleive he treats foreign leaders better than his own people who elect him, because I feel like the leaders of our country are put in a position with politics that if they decide they were wrong they can't admit it instead they have to be stubborn otherwise they're a flip-flopper and at what point do you fess up and say listen I made a mistake. I mean your human aren't you??? Why do we expect our politicains to be perfect. Until we get rid of the rhetoric of modern politics then we will never move in the right direction as efficiently as possible. And we will have Presidents who will stick to their guns only becuase they have spent so much money and campaign time on calling his opponent "Human". I would hope the President has enough ground to lead his campaign on facts of his hsitory in office? All I hear is Kerry isnt consistent. C'mon Mr. Pres please tell me you have more than that?
There is hope that the imbecile Neocon war puppet will be voted out!
When the American voters get more than a choice between 2 multi-millionaire, SCULL&BONES BROTHERS...who both serve the intrest of Big-Business, maybe more of us will care, who "won" the debate(sic)...

as a canadian it scares me that it appears bushco will leave iraq without the oil,so we have tio worry hell come after ours, since his decimated dollar wont buy much.
Bush did a much better job peddlings his lies to the public this time around compared to last, but you'd have to be semi-retarded to actually believe what he's saying. Kerry did a better job of presenting his arguments (again) and far more of what he had to say was truthful and valid. He won.
OH - and could the PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIC who keeps spamming posts about Zionist conspiracies please just shut the hell up and go hide in his closet from the UN helicopters while wearing his tin-foil hat to stop the aliens from reading his mind?!? Go! Run! Before they get you!
Guess what? The "powers that be" don't need ridiculously convoluted conspiracies like the ones you propose in order to achieve their goals in this world. They don't even have to hide what it is their doing typically because they're the ones who make and enforce "the rules". If you'd ever spent even 15 minutes around the very wealthy or politically connected, you'd understand that they don't need to do absurd things like crash airplanes into buildings (like the relatively powerless and disenfranchised terrorists do) to justify their use of their power to you, or anyone. If 9/11 didn't happen, Bush and pals would have latched onto some other convenient excuse for invading Iraq or doing whatever it is they decide to do.
Israel controls the USA? That's a joke. If we were to *somehow* succeed in stabilizing Iraq and installing a troop presence permanently in bases, and if we had an even slightly more moderate president than Bush (who is a nutty evangelical who puts some stock in the vague notion that Christ will come back if Israel has Jerusalem)... Well, you'd see foreign aid to Israel CUT, our bulldog support for Israel at the UN VANISH, and they'd be told to get their goddamn house in order and solve the Palestinian problem NOW so people stop blaming America for it and trying to blow us up for that reason.
Or, you could just stay convinced that you're somehow in possession of information and secrets about this big global conspiracy, one so big that it has nearly everyone in the world fooled and totally brainwashed, but for some reason they can accomplish THAT amazing feat of deceiving 6 billion people, yet they somehow can't manage to SHUT YOU UP (kill you, whatever) to prevent you from revealing their nefarious plans... Go see a psychologist dude.
KICK ALL REPUBLICAN LIARS OUT OF OFFICE! IT IS NOT JUST THE LYING BUSH IDIOT TONIGHT ON TV, BUT THE ENTIRE CABAL OF LIARS AND CRIMINALS IN THIS ADMINISTRATION.... NO - BUSH WILL NOT WIN -- BECAUSE WE, THE PEOPLE WON'T LET HIM.... EVEN IF HE STEALS THIS NEXT ELECTION OR "RIGS" IT WITH FRAUDULENT VOTING MACHINES OR THUGS WHO HARASS VOTERS AT THE VOTING POLLS, AN IMPEACHMENT PROCESS IS ALREADY SNOWBALLING INTO PLACE.... ANYONE READY FOR BUSH-GATE, UM, NIXON-GATE # 2 AND TRICKY DICK # 2'S IMPEACHMENT??? THEY'RE ALREADY LINING UP AT THE GALLOWS TO WATCH THEM HANG.... JUST LET THESE LYING PATHETIC IDIOTS WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH BUSH TRY TO BULLY YOUR CONFIDENCE INTO THINKING WE, THE PEOPLE CAN'T WIN... IT'S NOT TRUE!!! BECAUSE WHEN WE, THE PEOPLE DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, WE GO RIGHT AROUND IT -- NO CRYING OVER SPILT MILK OR GIVING UP, NO WAY -- WE ARE ALREADY WORKING ON WATERGATE # 2 SHOULD TRICKY DICK # 2 AND HIS PET POODLE BUSHIE STEAL THE ELECTION AGAIN... HAPPY WITCH-HUNTING - AND REMEMBER NOT TO GIVE IN TO THESE PRO-BUSH BULLIES EVER. THEY'RE JUST SCARED LITTLE WEENIE CHICKEN S***TS.
This President has a vocabulary of 300 words and his handlers just can't seem to train him for more. Sen. Kerry wins hands down.
Every time I see President Bush speaking or debating I can't believe how low we've set the bar for our leaders. To put it simply, the man is a disgrace,an embarrassment, and liar. The only people who are worse are those who would inflict him on our country and our world for a second term.
If we let Kerry into office, there is no way America can successfully end this war. I am not saying that Kerry does not have merit. America needs to finish what it started and changing presidents now will create havoc. We all know Bush's strength is not in debating - and so does he. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses. Bush is a great diplomat with sincerity. I am not sure that these are Kerry's qualities.
WHAT NOT A OPEN FORUM???
I saw all the meetings--sad affairs in America. The moderator on friday was a dud.Ya!--no fix--my ass.He gathered 148 questions(days ago) and chose 20 and let hand picked American fat slobs ,to ask them.
Kerry--I'M going to fix Iran--you ASS!.This mole for Israel is going to be no-better then Dick-head Bush. How many Americans know that Kerry promised the Jews--Iraq is ours and for Israel. How is it that Kerry can hide his Jewishness behand another religion. He is a Jew!-- JOHN KOCH (COHEN) not Kerry.Has anyone considered in question -why so many jews are in control?
Wake-up America, the debits are a scam.maybe Kerry is better then the Bushit but all have an ZIONIST agenda
I suggest all get to see the film documentary called
" THE WAR OF HIDDEN DESERT STORM"
IsraOil-hide your boys mama--the jews want another war!
Debate #2 seems like Andy Taylor vs Barney Fife .Bush came out strong and at least half way intelligent, but Kerry pulled a rope-a-dope, got George all rattled and pissed.Kerry remained calm and in controll, Bush morphed into Barney Fife on crack. Bubye Bushie, You're toast! We need a constutional amendment banning any Bush family member from politics for at least 100 years.
I'm British and I'm disgusted that Bush is quoting Tony Blair and the British people as being a supporter of his. Come and visit if you doubt this. Everyone here hates Bush and wants him gone! Victory for Kerry!
Bush looked like a used car salesman trying to sell us a lemon. He was fake, insincere and not believable. Kerry was steady and firm.
Bush must practice debating with 3rd graders (no intentional insult to all the 7-8 year olds out there). However, it just seems that the Bush attitude/platitude, is "you're bad", expecting John Kerry to respond with, "no, you're bad" to go on ad infinitum.
There was one point in which Bush actually seemed to make a good point. He talked about how he met with generals to determine how to win the war in Iraq. Bush's "good point" when Kerry retorted it was true that "generals win the war, but Presidents win the peace."
Check-mate
The lady who asked the question about stem cell research gave Bush a chance to rave a little about the ethics of "destroying life in order to save life." Isn't that what WAR is anyway? If it is NEVER ethical to destroy a clump of cells that MIGHT have developed into a person one day to save the life or improve the health of a person who is LIVING NOW, then how can it EVER be ethical to drop bombs on buildings containing even one innocent person, even (as in the case of Hiroshime) to prevent battles that would have killed millions more? This is not consistent, folks!
Jesus to Bush: what part of "love your enemies and resist not evil" don't you understand?
Everyone allready knows that Bush lies.
Kerry wants to tell the truth.
Ha.. tell us something that is a lie but isn't in the public domain/on the internet.
Oops!
Kerry won, the weasel Bush lost
The President tries to use his so-called "affable good nature" to overcome his ignorance of facts and basic surly attitude.
The reaction on the face of the woman who asked about stem cell research and the gentleman who asked about the environment, the shock when they heard the President say he supported stem cell and protected the environment(a good steward" was priceless.
The President, last night looked like a trapped and desperate animal. His body language was that of a teenager who was caught doing wrong and was trying to use intimidation to get out of it. This was a frightening experience.
Kerry wins, no doubt about it. Bush's impulsive and un-presidential behavior during the debate says more about his policies than anything he or Kerry could say. I am wondering, however, why our Libertarian or Constitutionalist Candidates are not heard from?
Mr. Bush exhibited his ongoing style of the typical little man's syndrome; I saw only one change in his demeanor and that was the clenching and grinding of his teeth rather than the continuous scowl. Mr. Kerry the consistently informed, intelligent gentleman. Please WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!
Bush scares the hell out of me!
Please save our country and our democracy. Please vote for John Kerry.
Bush is clearly coming apart. This view was stated by Alec Baldwin on Jon Stewart recently. Clearly, as Bush and Co. continue to come apart, it is time for the American people to rise up and vote for Kerry-Edwards and begin the long pull out of this dive. It is time for revolution, now!
Kerry definitely wins this one. Bush has already made the same mistake his father did that cost him his re-election. His demeanor shows that he is out of touch with the peoples of the United States, with their needs & believes.
WE NEED TO GO AFTER THE LYING TV MEDIA "PUNDITS" WHO WERE CALLING THIS A "TIE" IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS
Every one of the networks' resident idiot pundits called this a "tie," giving new meaning to the word. How could it be a tie when Kerry was calm, cool, and collected, and Bush was manic, hyped-up, all but yelling, looked totally insecure?
How could it be a tie when Bush dodged every uncomfortable question, simply not answering most of the questions posed to him, while Kerry answered every question posed to him, showing mastery of the material, and with good answers?
How could it be a tie if Bush's "gut" way of making decisions was on display, contrasted with Kerry's obviously thoughtful, intelligent way of approaching questions. His response on the issue of stem cells was emblematic, full understanding of the issue, sensitivity to the viewpoint of the question asker, intelligent, thoughful answer?
How could it be a tie when on substance, Kerry had concrete plans for job creation, health care coverage and costs, energy independence, and Bush had a few platitudes to throw at it which don't add up to a hill of beans?
How could it be a tie when Bush was clearly flailing at Kerry, saying wild things like their cooked up numbers for how often Kerry has alleged voted for or against taxes, while Kerry coolly responded with the relevant facts of the matter?
How could it be a tie when Bush confirmed that he is a serial self-denier by refusing to acknowledge a single mistake, not only in going to war, but in how it has been prosecuted, when even top Republicans are saying, and in public, that Iraq is a much worse mess because of mistakes in the occupation, and Kerry has just reminded the audience of their statements, and Bush still denies a single mistake? What kind of leadership does this reveal?
When judges judge events in the Olympics and other international competitions, they don't just have one overall impressionistic score, they score for a number of different, specific things. But the idiot pundits failed to say WHY they thought it was a tie, and never even suggested that the two should be compared on a number of different topics, like the ones I list above--because if they had, the hands-down winner would be obvious.
So, this campaign, we, all of us, need to immediately start a campaign of letter writing, emailing, and I would add phone calling to complain to the editorial offices of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and yes, even FOX, saying that calling a smashing victory for one candidate a tie is not objectivity, but just the opposite, that if one candidate did demonstrably better than the other, objectivity consists in pointing out how they contrasted on things like did they answer the questions asked them, did they give specifics, did they show thoughtfulness and mastery of the issues, etc. The network evaluation last night was awful, and typical, and it must be opposed. Let's go for it.

A vote for Bush? Not in your wildest dreams. For four years we have had a puppet with basically a 7th grade education. The world knows Cheney calls the shots. Wanna buy some wood?? PLEASE stop this stupid man.
It felt like Bush was yelling, shouting at me. I was appalled to see him jump off his stool and begin to reply boisterously without waiting for the moderator -- he must have done that at least 4-5 times. How rude! No, more than that, it was a crude performance from the man who thinks he is President. I have been ashamed to be American for almost three years now. Why does Bush think it is a badge of honor to unilaterally invade another country and then state that he would never participate in the International Criminal Court? Since when is our country the only land in the world with the right to do whatever we want with absolutely no accountability?
In contrast, and in spite of his misleading here and there with some numbers, Kerry at least has decorum and the kind of presence that inspires confidence. I thought his reply to the woman who asked about abortion was perfectly wonderful. He revealed that personally he is against abortion but stated quite firmly that the subject was not something that should be legislated. Kerry understands the importance of the separation between church and state.
In summary, Bush is a name-dropping, almost rabid dog man who looks like a bully. Kerry appears as a self-contained, educated and caring person with years of wisdom etched on his face.
To JFrost:
Didn't you mean to say; Look at their records and see who has done the most "TO" America? And certainly that would be Bush. America has never been so screwed by a president in our history. This man doen't work "For America" he works for "THE MONEY".
Time to wake up and get busy.
Brooks chided Kerry for saying that he (Kerry) could possibly balance the budget and do all the programs he said he would do. Then mysteriously Brooks had nothing to say about the bushits claim that he would balance the budget in 5 years, although everything I have read says that bushits plan would at the best take 10-ish years and most likely would never balance the budget. I think it would serve Brooks and his buddies to just completely steer clear of any statements that contained the word "Balanced", if you know what I mean.
Its very obvious that, if reelected, Bush plans to keep the country on the same ill-fated path for another 4 years.
The fact that he again refused to admit making any mistakes proves it.
it's amazing that anyone could POSSIBLY vote for bush after watching the debates... it's mind numbing.
ONE MORE DOG AND PONY SHOW WITH BUSH SUCKING THE HIND ONE. NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO TO MAKE HIM LOOK GOOD HE STILL COMES OUT THE SAME. TOO BAD THEY DON'T PUT AS MUCH TIME IN SOLVING THE NATIONS PROBLEMS AS THEY DO IN TRYING TO MAKE A SILK PURSE OUT OF A SOWS EAR. RE-ELECT BUSH..HOW CAN YOU DO THAT? HE HAS NEVER BEEN ELECTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
The only way GeeDubya benefits this from debate is because expectations of his performance were so low, particularly after the first debacle in Miami. Well then, by that standard, if I expect Senator Kerry to doze off during the debate, then quite clearly Kerry won!!
He even mocked Kerry when he pointed out that, under the classification of "small business owner," GeeDubya would be considered a small businessman, which demonstrated how dishonest those statistics are about the tax benefits for small businesses. GeeDubya is either willfully ignorant, or completely clueless, as to how those "small business owner" classifications are grossly misleading.
This is a pattern he is following - GeeDubya claims he doesn't understand Kerry's stance on Iraq, which, if anyone reads his statements in the Senate prior to the war, Kerry has been steadfast and consistent in how this President should have approached it.
Quite clearly, GeeDubya is in far over his abilities, and Kerry is exposing this guy for the inept, fraudulent president he is.
Anyone who thinks that not having a grasp of issues, and not being able to argue policy without mocking and misleading, is a debate winner, then they can bury their heads in the sand and believe GeeDubya fared well last night. These people deserve the government they vote for.
It's a real shame more people didn't realize the liar Bush was 4 years ago. His daddy messed things up, what made people think he would do any better. If the election in Florida gets messed up again this year you know it was fixed by dear old brother Jeb all along! I didn't vote for him 4 years ago and I'm not now! Mickey Mouse would make a better president then Bush!
Everyone needs to watch Fahrenheit 911 before election day. Especially anyone thinking of voting for Bush. It's a real eye opener!
Take off eh!
Seems that our third world drugs aren't good enough for Bush...but if you read this he's got no problem with oil from anywhere.

I neglected to mention how lame it was that GeeDubya ducked the last question about naming three mistakes he made as President.
"I made some mistakes in appointing people, but I'm not going to name them. I don't want to hurt their feelings on national TV."
What a cop-out. This is our big, bad "War Preznit," and he ducks a simple, puff-ball question?
How can GeeDubya win a war and not be able to admit a mistake?
How many of you GeeDubya supporters would want someone like that in your back-yard at a cookout who hides behind other people in order to duck a question?!? He did the exact same thing during Vietnam. What a man.
Had Clinton done that exact same thing, you would be howling to the moon!!
Please.
I'm not an American, though I did watch the 3 debates - 2 Kerry-Bush and one Edwards-Cheney.
How gulible you people are. Bush-Cheney lie and you beleive them. Much of the world detests USA because of these two.
Kick 'em out...
Kerry just kicked ass again, but even more so. Much more effective. Much more "in touch" which the questioners, definitive in his responses and relentless in his attack on the negative "achievements" of the past 4 years. Kerry just cut a swath and opened floodgates that Busch couldn't possibly counter.
Kerry was just so clearly a man of the people, whereas Busch (sic) continued to be an arrogant divisive bully. What a jerk! He literally cannot help being a stupid prick loser, who despite the enormous power he (illegitimately)commands is yet a robotic idiot. He is seriously defective, unhinged from any accountability, any sense of "realpolitic".
Will someone give this guy his walking papers and send him back to the ranch? We don't need him. He's presided over a totally negative 4 years. Death and destruction are his legacy. Neglect and lies are his legacy. Empty rhetoric and unfulfilled promises are his legacy. Divisiveness and ideological presumption are his legacy. Alienated from the rest of the world and alone with our guns is his legacy. A people invading and killing those we know not. When do we stop killing people we do not know?
I find it interesting that in each pres. debate Bush brings up the International Court and that the US will not join. Could Bush be afraid that acts of his administration mignt be considered
criminal?
Kerry was clearly the more presidential; Bush appears as an attack, immature and defensive pugilist.
Kerry lost.
His hallmark "yes-but" dogged him thru the whole debate.
A yes-but is a NO
He has NO position on anything, and if he becomes president, we are all in trouble.
An internationalist "new world order type", Kerry will deny the US its national interests and pander to the countries that want to kill you and me.
Fuck Kerry, hes a commie
I really think Bush lost the votes of the slave-owning, plantation owners by mentioning that he would select "strict constructionist" judges and mentioned the Dred Scott decision. But I think all those plantation owners are, well, dead.
Did he even know what he was talking about? I was visiting a friend yesterday and we watched the debate together and there were several times when Bush spoke and we'd look at each other trying to figure out what the hell Bush was talking about.
Part of his response to the question regarding his environment record was, "I've got a plan to increase the wetlands by 3 million." 3 million what?
At an earlier point Bush said, "We've got battling green eye shades." This was a rebuttle to Kerry regarding healthcare and not raising taxes. What is Bush talking about.
There were several statements like this along with his winking, smirking, shouting, and seemingly rude and loud behaviour which was rather distressing (to say the least). And this is the President? Nope. Cheney is the President. This is a puppet.
KERRY WON. Heck, the guy speaks complete sentences and can think on his feet. All Bush can do is whine that he's not being treated fairly. At least he didn't talk about how "hard" his job is. And as for the people here who are Bush supporters, I just have one question...WHY?
It can't be the economy, 'cause that's in the crapper. No matter what Bush says, he was given an enormous surplus (by a democrat, by the way) and didn't just use that up, but sent us back to deficits (just like a Republican). Even if you count a recession, and a war, if you are fiscally responsible, you would hold on to the surplus as you saw the economy start going down and you certainly wouldn't start a war on false pretenses.
It can't be the matter of security. After all, with evidence of an atttack coming at him from everyone from the outgoing Clinton Administration to the August 6 PDB, Bush ignored every one. Heck, he and Dick were too busy planning to go to Iraq and selling of the US to the higest bidder! And that ain't just rhetoric, that's fact. Oh yeah, and how about the $40 million he gave the Taliban in 2001, just 4 months before al Queda attacked? Seems to me that puts him right n the league of "consorting with terrorists" (not to mention that it was illegal - there was an executive order signed by Clinton that NO ONE from the US was to have any dealings with the Taliban).
Aw, heck, I could go on and on. Bush is a disaster (i.e. clueless moron) and Cheney is an evil bastard. Both of them don't give a whit for your security or mine. Bush has his Texaas ranch to retreat to (or a school in Florida) and Cheney has his "bunker".
People, you can't be afraid. That's what the terrorists want, and it's what Bush/Cheney want. Fear wins. FDR said, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself." And when you ask yourself WHO is better to face the fear, just remember who took boats down the dangerous rivers of Vietnam, earning 5 mendals for it, and who was drinking, drugging and screwing around, eventually getting was suspended from flying (for refusing a physical/drug test), and then went AWOL from the TANG? It's so obvious it's laughable.
Maybe there's a remote island somewhere, a place where we can send Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, Rummy, and all the clueless Americans who think they are actually doing a good job. You can go there, declare Bush King (though I think Cheney would be a bit miffed), and wait for the rapture. Meanwhile, the rest of us can get down to the hard work of taking back - the America the Founding Fathers so wosely created - a place of by and for the PEOPLE.
Geez, why is it every time a Republican gets in they screw things up, leaving a mess for Democrats (and other patriots) to fix?
At first, I was kind of disappointed in Kerry not nailing Bush's lie after lie after lie. Yet, I then thought of how Al Gore did that in 2000 and the press picked on Gore for being "too hard" on the simpleton.
Then after reviewing this debate and the first one, Kerry has Bush set up for the knockout in the next one. It's like your watching a masterful boxer toy with someone who should have never put on boxing gloves, let alone be in the ring.
Kerry has already exposed Bush as a fraud in the first two debates. Yet, Kerry couldn't do it bluntly because the rightwing media and the Rove spin machine would have just turned it against Kerry. (Similarly, Edwards exposed Cheney as the fraud he is).
Kerry's calmness, forthrightness and sternfully putting the argument back in Bush's lap has definitely worked for him. There are no sighs, no disinterested looks, no cheap shots which the rightwing media would be waiting to trumpet throughout the land.
The more truths Kerry and Edwards put out about Bush, the more Bush digs his own grave by denying it and/or claiming he made the right decision.
It's fascinating to see the Rove machine unravel.
As a Canadian for the life of me I can not see how anybody can or will vote for a lying person like Bush.
Lies, Lies & more Lies. Please do not re-elect the deep in the Bush tell me some more LIES.
A president that wants to go get approval from the UN for any little thing is no leader...
Kerry is a weak man... but could you imagine having that Edwards fellow running things if Kerry died?
An ambulance chaser as president that cannot even follow some simple debate rules? Edwards has NO experience, except ruining the US healthcare system.
Come on, where is your thinking process people!
And back to the UN... what a ineffective group of criminals... the oil for food debacle is the largest fraud in history in dollar terms !
If Kerry is elected, we can expect a nuke in a major city, and Kerry will withdraw from the world stage... doing EXACTLY what the islamic death cult worshippers want.
Kerry is a dangerous dangerous man. Bush is a simpleton, but at least he knows what it takes to have the US survive the WW3 we are in.
Make no mistakes, this is WW3, and we are in 1938. Kerry will be our Chamberlain if we elect this dork.
Bush and Kerry both must go America. They are both behind 9-11. The usa government no longer servers the people. The usa really needs to take a good hard look at what is really going on. Do not be fooled into picking a team and being a mindless cheerleader. You may also want to look into buying gold/silver while the price is still cheap.
take care all,
love yourself
love those who do not look like you.
love everyone.

How could "Pat" post that nonsense unless he/she is a Republican operative?
Bush lied about not owning a Timber company, Cheney lied about his connection between Hussein and Al Qaeda.
John Kerry is a smart man who has done good things for Massachusetts. When elected President he can do great things for our world.
Oh, and by the way, he won both debates. Did you see Bush's funny faces on the split screen?
Bush excels at playing the schoolyard bully, but couldn't remember his timber company ownership, his opponent's name or much of anything to say. He was rude to the moderator (and the public), refusing to honor the debate rules. He was petulant, smarmy and stupid. And the only mistake he could admit was one he couldn't discuss. Bye, George
http://www.mastery-of-life.com
In an earlier post “AJR” mentioned that in the 2nd debate Bush reminded her of her friend’s boorish husband. Let’s see whether Bush’s acts as president back up that perception:
1, He squandered the family’s savings [the budget surplus].
2, Wondered out into the night, drunk with power, and picked unprovoked fights with strangers [Iraq].
3, Did crazy unreasonable things, just to impress his buddies [neo-cons, oil companies, Halliburton, religious fundamentalists] - no matter how much we, the family pleaded with him [ignoring protests about abortion rights, the war etc.].
4, Never adequately communicated with his family [record-few press conferences, canned answers, stubbornness in the face of criticism].
5, If he said anything about his plans for the family he delivered it with a “father knows best” attitude: demanding blind faith in his decisions and dismissing dissent.
6, Alienated the neighbors with his obnoxious behavior [causing our fast-diminishing standing in the world]. And above all:
7, His negligence was largely responsible for a great tragedy that hit the family - and his first instinct wasn’t to run and help the family members [ignoring CIA warnings in the summer of 2001; his 7 minutes of inaction at the elementary school on 9/11].
I think so.
Hi Everyone,
About that outburst:
When Bush jumped off his chair I recoiled, thinking, this man is clearly nuts. And he is the leader of the free world? Why do so many Americans support him (and makes excuses for him)?
Further, is this country insane? Have we collectively succumbed to the rhetoric of fear, fostered by the media, that insists Mr. Bush is our only line of defense against further terrorist attacks? If so, shall we elect him Emperor for Life? My God! George Orwell is surely rolling in his grave. We have become Oceania.
BTW: On behalf of all Americans, I apoligize to our nothern neighbors for the Canada slur.

How could a thinking person vote for hanoi-John and is vacuous pony named Edwards?
Answer? They are not thinking...
As a woman, I appreciate how this administration has improved the lot of women in these repressive Muslim countries. Kerry would disengage to the detriment of these women. Kerry is no leader.
He has a better future starting a waffle-hut franchise with his wifes money.
Canada = terrorist campground
The only way anyone can possibly say that Bush won last night's debate is if they are comparing his performance not with Kerry's, but with Bush's own performance in the 9/30 debate. And even then, the only thing he did better was to be a bit more animated than he was in the first debate. Kerry in a landslide! - it's coming!!!
Mary,
Its Kerry UNDER a landside.
He would be safer for us there.
Check the poll on
"Campaigns and Elections"
it seems Kerry is in the lead there too.
John Kerry clearly won the debate. Holy cats! people, wake up! How can you not see that? Envision a line drawn down through the halfway mark on the IQ bell curve graph. If 100 IQ is the "average" range, then all the people represented in the bottom half support Bush, all the people above, support Kerry. Really, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Bush is a whacked out, completely out of touch, petulant idiot. John Kerry will work to restore intelligence and competence to the office of the President.
Thank you Morgan. However, it is not you that needs to apologize for the slur. It is your President. And he wonders why he has alienated most of America's long-time allies? We in the great, white North don't blame the American people for that madman. And we know that he wasn't elected in the first place. But it sure is important to make sure that he's gone after this election, before he causes much, much more harm to the world.
Hey Martin,

I got one thing to say to ya'll
You guys want some wood?
Sally, when these people are in Canada they don't commit any terrorist acts. Could maybe the US foreign policy have something to do with the hatred directed towards your country? I'm pretty sure that it's not envy for democracy or both country's standard of living that causes the hate.
Campains and Elections Poll has now turned in our favor.
See cut and paste below:
Thank you,Your vote has been recorded.
Who performed better in the presidential debate on Friday, Oct. 8?
Options
George Bush 46%
John Kerry 53%
As long as 50% of US citizens continue to allow their major party allegiances and corporate chartered Commission on Presidential Debates to effectively control and disenfranchise the other 50% of the voting electorate AND as long as the voluntarily disenfranchised, though eligible (but non-voting), electorate refuse to participate because they feel their vote doesn’t count, AND as long as people vote out of fear (euphemistically referred to as "pragmatism") and cast their vote "against" someone, instead of "for" someone - then we will have minority rule and/or extremely close, if not suspect, elections.
Frankly, the real debate of most major critical issues was on PBS’s Bill Moyer’s NOW! after the second presidential debates were over. There Michael Petrouka (Constitution), Ralph Nader (Independent), Michael Bednarik (Libertarian) and David Cobb (Green Party) pointed out what is really wrong with our nation’s current but antiquated election system. Too bad NOW! was shown after most people had gone to bed. In any case, it’s clear to intelligent and inquiring minds that the People must wake up and demand Instant Runoff Voting and proportional representation, among a number of other critical election reforms, if we are to ever see our republic approach equitable representation of its very diverse constituency.
People, let's not lose our perspective. Does Kerry think he can change worldwide public opinion overnight? From this Canadian's point of view, both Bush and Kerry are seen as being in favour of invading Iraq, even though possessing WMD would still not have been a pretext for war under the UN Charter. Kerry voted for the Patriot Act and lord knows what ever other measures the Bush Administration pushed through after 9/11. How much different is he?
He has not presented any concrete plans for building a stronger international coalition. No country is going to commit troops to Iraq no matter who is elected. What possible inducement could he offer? It would simply be political suicide for the ruling government of any foreign power unless it was done under the auspices of the UN..
Kerry says he will stop the outsourcing of jobs. Is he not aware that the United States is a signatory of the North American Free Trade Agreement? Is he going to do a Bush and just rip up this agreement. That's hardly how one goes about building strong international coalitions, when you stick it in the ribs of your closest trading partners.
America's image has been more than tarnished by the torture scandals. At current count there are about 300 cases under investigation, ranging from Guantanamo Bay to Iraq to Afganistan. The worls will be watching how vigourously and how high up the ladder Kerry pursues this.
Under Kerry, will the U.S. join the International Criminal Court? If he is sincere about building up America's image again, this would be a good place to start.
The biggest obstacle that America faces in swaying world public opinion over to it's side is to stop the hypocracy of proclaiming yourself the great land of liberty, with your Bill of Rights and how "All men are created equal", when in fact, to paraphrase Napoleon the Pig in Orwell's Animal Farm, you behave as is if "All mem are created equal, but some men (ie. Americans) are more equal than others".
Still, Kerry has an uphill battle and his biggest opponent is not a guy named bush , but one called DIEBOLD. These programable vote stealers will be used by the Republicans to steal every vote they can in every state that they are being used. Remember what Joe Stalin said, "It's not who casts the vote that matters, it's who counts it".
All that being said, I hope Kerry's first act as President is to kick George Dubya's treasonable butt into a prison cell. My only regret is that I would never get to use my "YANKEE MORON GO HOME" picket sign.
(PS) Who knows, if George and the Rapture Freaks are right I should be able to move into my neighbour's house free of charge.
Judging from last night's debate, it is now Bush whose only hope of winning rests on the fear he might instill in voters of his opponent. He even resorted to anti-communis fear-mongering with his asinine reference to "rationing" health care. He's pathetic.
Bush not admitting any mistakes? Well, I think he inadvertently did when he said:
"The truth of that matter is, if you listen carefully, Saddam would still be in power if he were the president of the United States, And the world would be a lot better off."
Cheryl,
You are a Moron. Canada is a launching pad for terrorists, and the blind liberals in Canada cant see it.
Ever heard of the millenium bomber who came form Canada ? You are a stupid uninformed person. Are all Canadians like you?
US policy is just fine.

Does he mean on Election Day... Or sometime after?
4 years ago, as an independent moderate I supported Al Gore but got behind George W. Bush after 9-11 as he seemed like he would do something substative on terrorism. How naive could I have been! The man is clearly an idiot and not to mention totally off his rocker. I watched both presidential debates with a clear and open mind towards Bush and Kerry even though I had misgivings towards both- I wanted to see Bush clearly admit his mistakes in how he executed the war in Iraq and I wanted to see Kerry be strong and decisive in his answers and not "wishy-washy". Well, so far my husband and I have been very impressed with Kerry, he seems presidential, intelligent, and most importantly in this unsure word we live in, he seemed calm. Bush, on the other hand, seemed angry, impatiant, arrogant, and childish. His joking around in the middle of the debate last night ("anyone need wood"?) seemed inappropriate during a time of war. Kerry's intensity and seriousness has seemed to work for him in the debates. I was unsure if I would vote at all in this election as Bush has dissapointed me with his rash decision to go to Iraq without a clear plan of what to do after the war was over as well as his unfeeling words over the economy and healthcare. Kerry to me seemed to have nothing to say and unclear on his own positions. But clearly, after this last debate it is obvious Kerry is hte smarter of the two and does not seem to freak out when asked simple questions as Bush does. Kerry has convinced this undecided voter to vote for him as I believe he is more stable a person and will think things through before jumping to conclusions. I feel that if other undecided voters felt as I did watching these debates than Kerry will win the election. My husband says he is going to vote for the first time ever (its only our third election that we have been able to votew in). He is voting for Kerry also. By the way, to the posters that are putting down Canada, you guys are being rude. Just some thoughts....
People who support an adminstration that has turned it's back on the USA and the world tells me they more than likely live as they do. They must lie and cheat. They must covet their money. People are not in their best interest. War is peace to them. Finger pointing and being very judgemental of others lives are common place for the Bush Adloserstration lovers. These people would sell out their own mother just to save their butts. Cowards and flightless birds make up the party of the Republicommiezero's.
WHEN I LEARN SOMEONE AROUND ME IS A BUSH SUPPORTER I AUTOMATICALLY PUT UP MY DEFENSIVE WALLS BECAUSE I DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY DO OR SAY.
Kerry won again and will win on Nov. 2nd as long as Jeb Bush and his Florida cartel are kept in check.
Bush has to go.
bottom line...either way WE lose
kerry is going to tax and spend you to death, while bush is going to spend and send your kids to death (actuall, so will kerry)
theyre both SKULL AND BONESMEN, i.e., the establishment
screw Michael Mores film....you need to get 911 THE ROAD TO TYRANNY and THE MASTERS OF TERROR by Alex Jones for the real story

Please, please, please check out the URL posted here by GreatWhiteNorth at 01:59 PM.
It's an article in the Toronto Star. When I read it yesterday, I was shocked. What I do not understand is why this isn't headline news in every paper in the US. I sent the link to everyone I know.
Please, please read this and share with everyone you know.
Judging by the initials and the idiotic content of the message, I'd say I just got a response back from the President himself.
Just what the hell is an Islamo-fascist? Just in case I run into one.
To get our oil you'd have to conquer us and I've got news for you, everytime you tried it the past we kicked your sorry ass. Man for man, Canadians have always proven themsleves to be among the best fighters in the world. Certainly, good enough to take on a bunch uneducated, high school drop-outs.
By the way "GW", will you be leading the charge with your hunting rifle and a six pack of Coors? I just like to know how to recognize you so I can get you in my sights.
Oh. let me guess. You'll be all draped in the flag, won't you. I'm afraid that won't help. All you red neck types like to cover your selves in that stupid rag, don't you.
BC Bud,
As I pointed out, you are already conquered, economically that is.
That is all that matters.
And if you want to see an Islamo-facist, just go look in your mirror ;-)
But seriously, you guys have to bolster your borders. I am not against Canadians per-se LOL !
Just trying to get some of your more liberal countymen and women to THINK.
Cheers
Kerry was cool and collected, truly Presidential.
Bush however, is on the brink of showing his true demonic colors. The man and his handlers are disturbed and should be removed from office. They have fooled their followers long enough, have lied and even more Americans (and others) continue to die! Time to Kerry Bush out of the White House!
Thank God some part of the US is waking up to Bush/Rove and their Fascist takeover. As a long time forecaster and astrologer for the past six months I have seen Kerry winning on some kind of freak event. Could be more expossure of secrets or Bush's ties. Bush's chart is under extreme pressure. Between the 19th and the 22nd is a most critical time for him. His out-of-control exhibition on Friday was deeply frightening. I will have a new Forecast this Sunday
Remember that Saddam Hussein's nemisis was Iran. Remember that under Saddam, Iraq did not tolerate radical Shite Muslims, let alone Al Queda, since they were synonomous with his enemy. He killed them. So, when Bush tells us that Saddam was a threat because he harbored Al Queda terrorists and desired to give them WMD he got another fact wrong. Ever since has been feeding this to the American public. The last thing Saddam would want is WMD in the hands of his enemies.

Hey David,
Are you going to look at the entrials of a dead-cat to see the future?
Or do you use the organs of a child?
Or do you play connect the dots after you pop your zits in the mirror?
Ha HA
Heres something really scarry ;
BOO!
Dave you are a freak !
Im on pins and needles for your 'forecast' Dave
Wake up America! Do the right thing! Last night's (so-called) debate if nothing else, clearly exposed the reality that we have raving mad-man in the While House.
For humanity sake, we simply can not afford to keep "Joe Isuzu" as the leader of the (so-called) free world, for another 4 years!!! This planet needs & deserves better!
Vote for Kerry/Edwards on Nov 2nd!!!! Tell your friends, specifically the ones in the 'swing states".
Hey BC Bud,
Last I heard you guys had to turn in your guns up there in Canada, eh?
Ha Ha
Kerry was calm, informed and respectfull. Bush was angry and again repeated non-facts. Heck he does'nt even now about his part ownership in a timber bussiness. I paid particular attention to his statments regarding the Serria Nevada Mountains, since that is where I live. He has ignored the forrest service report in favor of what amounts to clear-cutting our forrests, thank God Arnie owns a home here. The choice is easy do we vote for an educated adult or spoiled child who is never at fault.
Patty
Kerry is a UN pussy who would sacrafice America to satisfy his UN handlers.
Kerry is:
A two faced liar and danger to America
Besides, GW and diebold got this one covered :-)
Thank GOD!
Fact: Suicide Cult in the White House bringing on their Armageddon. America don't ever believe they didn't let 911 happen, it advanced their Nazi agenda in the works for decades (Prescott-GW grandad was Hitlers top funder). Bush & Co. are blood thirsty psychopaths! Everything they say and do are the reverse. It's time to remove The Fourth Reich on Nov. 2nd! Kerry is a better alternate than Smirky any day!
Freethinnker,
Kerry controls his smirks with BOTOX
10 out of 10 terrorists agree, anyone but Bush !
Re: that thing on Bush's back in the first debate. Proof positive that he's a pod person controlled by aliens? Or Debate-gate II?
Thank God Bush won the second debate!
We need a man who stands firm and doesn't waver!
Keep up the good work in Iraq!
God Bless George II.
Love,
Osama B. and the Saudi Royal Family.
GI jerk,
Bush controls his anger when Chaneys hand up his butt, the meanwhile try pulling your gun out of yours. Bush and the place where the 911 box cutters came from have been in league for decades. Ever ask yourself why over 100 members of the Bin Laden family where secretly evauated immed. after 91101. Just why didn't we invade the Saudis?!
Enough GI jerky, keep drinking that fuzzy koolaid and
popping those beer pretzels & sniffing that coke with your Foxed out uninformed self.
Time to throw the garbage out!
Flush Bush in '04!
In the eyes of the world, Pres.Bush is an embarassment to our nation. He comes across as a spoiled rich kid who must have it his way regardless of the damage. This man must be replaced. For goodness sakes VOTE!
"Cheryl,
You are a Moron. Canada is a launching pad for terrorists, and the blind liberals in Canada cant see it.
Ever heard of the millenium bomber who came form Canada ? You are a stupid uninformed person. Are all Canadians like you?
US policy is just fine.
Winers like you feel impotent because of it... too F'n bad.
RFID all Canadians !"
I really enjoy this post. But you can sure tell who the Bush supporters are. Everyone else tries to have an informed discussion and they insult people. By the way, not to show my ignorance, but what does "RFID all Canadians" mean?
The one thing good people should understand from history is that THIS administration are the modern day equivilent to the robber barons of the late 1800's and early 1900's. It's all about greed at all cost and all profit to the corporatists. They love it when we fight about small issues like gay marriage, abortion or if Kerry sweats. These people are doing the country in and we must stop them. Don't these people have children of their own? Why have they chosen to destroy the planet we all inhabit? Survey says: they believe in the rapture -- and want to facilitate it. God himself will take care of these evil bastard non-christian charlatans.
Did you know that in these W rallies, republicans must sign a "loyalty oath" before seeing their president speak? No dissent. What the hell is that? Thomas Jefferson said: "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." The true-believing followers are unbelievably gullible.
Let's bring back public floggings -- only for politicians that lie to their constituents for the benefit of their own wallet.
He's NEVER been my president.
Bush is so sharp, he's got a pointed head that is wired to a receiver
Sounds like the typical red-neck, Canada haters. Bottom line Canada DOSEN'T have 47 million citzens going without health care. But why would Bush - Cheney care (about the uninsured) they each have a wonderful health care bought and paid for by the American taxpayers. But Bush say's no to (socialized) medicine, at least not for the millions of uninsured. But he has no trouble accepting it, himself. Silly FReepers!
Bush is a pig who needs to be not only beaten but beaten up
Carollyne,
I think RFID is the same as the chip that some owner have put in their pets.
Sheesh, I hope not all Canadians guage Americans by the zeal of some on this board !
As a recent mother I am so concerned for my child. To my amazement though, I discoved there was just a recent vote in congress to reinstate the draft !
Sadly though I found out that it was a bill that was sponsored by the democrats ! Can someone inform me on this please
thanks
Susan
Dump the Nixon trained Bush 2 or 3 (Jebby in the wings) family now Amerika and everyone read It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis today. The so-called debate I'm currently viewing in repeat format on CNN. Its giving me a headache and sickening me to watch fratboy draft dodger supreme picked Bush2, my mind was made up in 1971 about John Kerry go see Up River today. I did. Loved every sec of it.

"Israel controls the USA? That's a joke. If we were to *somehow* succeed in stabilizing Iraq and installing a troop presence permanently in bases, and if we had an even slightly more moderate president than Bush (who is a nutty evangelical who puts some stock in the vague notion that Christ will come back if Israel has Jerusalem)... Well, you'd see foreign aid to Israel CUT, our bulldog support for Israel at the UN VANISH, and they'd be told to get their goddamn house in order and solve the Palestinian problem NOW so people stop blaming America for it and trying to blow us up for that reason."
You just provided the best evidence I've seen that Israel does indeed control America. NONE of these things have come close to happening, even though we've clearly had more moderate presidents before G.W. Bush, Jr. Kerry, I hate to say, won't be any different with regard to supporting Israel.
As for the debate, I was frustrated and disappointed with Kerry. He passed up golden opportunities to rake Bush over the coals, but didn't follow thru. For example, Kerry could have mentioned SOMETHING about the insurance companies colluding to jack up medical malpractice premiums, but he didn't. He could have taken the drug companies to task for charging Americans 3 times as much for prescription drugs as Canadians pay, but he didn't. He could have simply said, "9/11 happened on your watch, Mr. President", but he didn't. Is Kerry preparing us for what will amount to "Bush-lite" policies?
Susan,
I hear that only democrats voted for it too, maybe Kerry is one of "them" ?
Bush and the environment:
What really upset me in this debate was Bush's characterization of himself as "a good steward of the land."
If this is true, why did The League of Conservation Voters give Bush an "F" for his environmental record?
lcv.org/Features/Features.cfm?ID=3151&c=46
And why is the Sierra Club endorsing Kerry?
http://www.sierraclub.org/pressroom/releases/pr2004-05-11.asp
Anyone with common sense knows Bush is anti-environment. He straight up lied to America last night. This is not the only lie he told however, but the one that needs some attention.
Overall, I think Kerry could have done a little better, but Bush bombed. He's obviously trained thoroughly for these debates and can't talk about anything confortably that he wasn't drilled on. The confusion and nervousness he displayed should have been apparent to anybody with a critical eye. These are not qualities I want in a president.
I wrote "AN wrote". I meant to say "NK wrote". My apologies.
There will be no election! The Bush family evil empire will cancel for security reasons after their carefully engineered terrorist bombing in a major US city.Bush will be declared dictator of the USA and all dissidents that oppose his administration and its policies will be put in internment camps that are already prepared for the takeover by the Bush cabal.Democracy in America is already dead!
It is apparent to all who go past the surface that W is doing irreparable harm to our Nation and the World. As we are the World's most powerful nation, it is incumbent upon us to lead humankind toward a bright and hopeful future. We are now headed in the excatly opposite direction. The future is dark and despairing. Our only hope for W and his friends to leave us so that we may have a better world. Heaven protect us if he is re-elected. How do we get our fellow citizens to see past the surface? How do we counteract this poisonous propoganda that is numbing people's minds?
You know the desperation is getting thick when debate turns toward a northern neighbour.
Next will be evidence that sometimes crime occurs in Canada--clear evidence that crime does not occur in America.
America's deficient border patrol is not Canada's problem. Besides, the majority of lowlifes enter the U.S. without ever crossing the Canadian border. Some are even born there--sometimes within families of predominately white skin (gasp!).
btw: "...turn in your guns up there" [who told you this lie?]
I was misled into believing that Iraq had WMD and posed an immediate threat to the U.S.? The truth is out now that Saddam had destroyed his program prior to the U.S. invasion as a result of international (U.S.) pressure and was "talking the talk" to create the illusion of power to stay Iran. That's information I find credible given his past history and recalling the surprise of our military when Saddam did not use mass destruction weaponry against our troops. Who is to fault for this HUGE error? I'm holding George Bush accountable since he has not answered who's to fault. On national t.v. George Bush could not be straight with the American people and did not say we were misled and a mistake was made when asked the question directly. As a "stockholder" in this country and in the words of Donald Trump, "Your fired!!" The average, moderate American does not agree or support INVADING other countries without substantial/undeniable proof. And beyond that, neither does any other civilized human being. That's why Americans supported fighting and destroying Hitler and the natzis. And the war went down in history as legitimate and necessary. This war, the legitimacy is all but gone. I WANT JUSTICE. Someone is to blame and if it's not Bush then he'd better start doing some fast talking as to who is. I do not want the U.S. to go down in the history books as having invaded a country based on politician's lies and be compared to the Vietnam war. I want a truthful answer from George Bush that is credible enough that the world will eventually accept it. The rehtoric that he repeats for why we he would go to war knowing what we know now is not credible. It does not pass my test! We invaded a country. Our troops are dying based on lies. Iraqis are dying and suffering. Democracy is not tyranny. The truth justifies democracy and what we're learning now is that America lied to the world in order to promote Democracy and that doesn't leave me with a feeling that justice and God are on our side! You need to pray to your God Mr. President that you will find the words to apologize and repair the damage done to cause of democracy or we will replace you with John Kerry that I trust to do it.
W is dangerous.
This could be the end of huamn civilization as we know it.
How did Robert Novak get his job?
Will this country wake from it's TV induced stupor before its too late?
Kerry clearly won. I was afraid that Duhhhhb was going to burst that vein in his forehead before the debate ended. This scary little man has done more harm to America during his first(and hopefully last) term than any other president in modern times. He's a walking catasatrophe who is unfortunately too damned and too damned stubborn to admit when he has made a grievious error and change course. I can't even phathom how screwed up we'll be if this clown is given another 4 years to run the circus.
George W. has nothing to stand on. His record from the past four years is abysmal. Can't people see that? He can't defend his own record. All he can do is attack John Kerry. Fortunately, Kerry stood head and shoulders above this little man from Crawford--who many have dubbed the shrub. Congratuations to John Kerry for again demonstrating clarity, intelligence, and leadership. Kerry was the clear winner.
I watched both debates, actually all three debates, including the vice presidential debate. Kerry won both of his and Edwards won his. Bush appeared too petulant to discuss anything during the first debate, and during the second he was nervous, fidgety and rude. What a sad display from a president. Cheney lied every time he opened his mouth and Edwards kept his cool. Let's face it, Edwards can't help it if he looks 35 at 50. We should be so lucky. And, I guess Cheney can't help it either that he looks at 63 more like 75. I think of him as the Darth Vader of the Republican Party.
I dont know what debate alot of you watched, But clearly Bush won that debate. kerry may have been prettier. he may have stood up straighter... But look into what he said.. Look at his record.... Bush is clearly the right man to lead this war... I dont want kerry in charge protecting my children or this nation. He is a weak man. A weak politician. People always say they wish a politician would tell it to them straight for once.. Bush does that. meanwhile Kerry blows smoke like most politicians and alot of you praise him for it.... Luckily most Americans are not that stupid...
Bush is the right man to lead this war--are you kidding me? He sould be leading the peace. If it weren't for Bush's rush to judgment we wouldn't be in this war, and the poor Iraqi people wouldn't have a war-torn country and thousands of deaths. As president, Bush had far more information available to him about Saddam than did those in congress who had to vote on it. Unfortunately, George II only listens to his yes men. Now, it's our war and the US soldiers have paid the ultimate price for this shrub's mistake. We need a president who will act responsibly and will tell the American people the truth--that's John Kerry.
susan,
You can log on Congress.Org and find the answer. It took me a short time to do so. Yes there was a bill S89 and HR162 introduced on 1/7/03, before the Iraq war and after 9/11. This bill was introduced by Sen. Hollings in the senate and Rep. Ranges in the house. Ranges believed that there was a need in post 9/11 that all our young should serve to protect the homeland not just the poor with no other options for emplyment but the military. Senate bill became stuck in committees while the house bill failed to pass. As far as I could find Kerry did not support this bill. Remember this bill was in responce to 9/11 not the Iraq War. I did find a bill that Kerry supported and co-sponsored on 3/18/03 S647 This bill dealt with closing the gap of health coverage for reservist and their families when called to active duty. Unfortunatly it is still in committee and our soldiers go without. I suggest that if you want to know about the many bills some good and some just plain silly, log on to Congress.Org and investigate for yourself.
Patty
We know what we have for the past four years, total absolute failure and lies. If you want (4)more years of lies & failures then vote for the Texas Shrub. For me I want a change, that will be a vote for Kerry & Edwards.
Dan
One of the women on the blogs comments that Bush reminds her of an angry ex-husband. One of those guys who would have his wife sweeping the porch while his daughter is sick with the flu and complaining that his roast beef wasn't cooked properly.
why is indymedia's hard drives being siezed?
because indymedia is investigating bush's father's (sr bush) dealing in laundering money.
One such note exposes bank transfer of one billion for the benefit of pligrim investment which is owned by GWB and Queen of england in the account of # 20-38188-311 receiver arab bank monaco.
The war on terror is (was) seperate from the Iraq (Bush's) War. Because of incomptent pre-war planning, our chances of creating stability and security are next to nothing.
America is an occupying force with little popular support. Most Iraqi's are sitting on the fence to see who will win. The insurgents can let off car bombs from now until the end of time. Americans and Iraqi's will continue to die. Why?
Because Bush says Saddam hoped that one day he like to have WMD's again.
This is absolute lunacy. America needs to remove itself from the situation and let the Iraqi's determine their own destiny.
DEMOCRACY and LIBERTY are abstractions that can not be applied on a whim.
W desrves to be removed form office based purely on the fact that he is responsible for guiding us into the Iraq Quagmire.
In different circumstance, W would be prosecuted as a war criminal.
I watched MSN last night and came to the conclusion that MSN IS TOTALLY REPUBLICAN Pat Buchanan never shut up, and Ginsberg the rep.attorney the same .Kerry wiped the floor with Bush it was like 2000 all over again they critized Gore for multiple personallities now BUsh has them Please America come to your senses NO MORE BUSH..
Kerry ahead in the FOX NEWS poll. Unreal. Barely ahead in the AOL poll, but from my years subscribing to that ISP I found out there are a lot of very conservative people on AOL.
Bush is an embarrassment to America and to the world.
why do you people let AOL , CNN and others lie about the online polls. I was up until 3:30 and they were all 5 to 1, yet this morning everyone says a tie while all the major networks last night was spinning it to be a win for Bush.
GET THE MESSAGE OUT, so the ignorant people who can't decide forthemselves can least know the Truth.
The townhall debate was insufferable. One reviewer aptly described Bush as having replaced his scowl with a shout. In other words, he's still a hot-head. I feel frustration for Kerry; the only thing worse than arguing with a fool is debating with a liar, and Bush is both. What a waste of Kerry's -- and our -- time to keep mincing petty rhetoric.
I was dryly amused when a woman asked Bush to list three of his mistakes. Of course he couldn't. Even more telling-- while he schmoozed with the audience afterwards, he refused to shake the woman's hand.
This brought to mind an old interview with Mark Crispin Miller, author of The Bush Dyslexicon. [LINK:
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/1128-02.htm ] Miller had been collecting Bush quotes for their comic value. After a while, he saw a pattern emerge which led him to conclude it isn't that Bush is a moron -- it's worse -- he's a sociopath.
Miller sited one of Bush's most famous gaffes, his mangled misquote of "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Bush flubbed: "There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says: Fool me once..." [pause] "... shame on..." [pause] "...shame on you..." [pause] "...if you fool me, you can't get fooled again." [Nashville, TN, Sept. 17, 2002 -- LINK: http://vancouver.indymedia.org/news/2003/09/69455.php ] Miller believes Bush couldn't say it right to save his life.
Bush can no more say "shame on me" than he can admit mistakes to a woman from the heartland on international television. It simply isn't within his mental and emotional grasp.
During the first debate when Bush boasted, yet again, of staying the course, Kerry declared that Bush's certainty had undercut his performance as president. "It's one thing to be certain, but you can be certain and you can be wrong," said Kerry. "Certainty can get you into trouble."
Bush's certainty has got us all in trouble and now he can't admit to it. That's what makes him so dangerous.
And still, fools follow him.
Fact is, everyone thought Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. Did any of you even read the report that was issued. The ,aimstream media only reports on half of the report. They leave out the fact that the report says saddams intentions were worse thatn we originally thought. True it turns out he didnt have weapons. We didnt know that, and we couldnt have known that because he wouldnt cooperate with inspectors. The reason is he didnt want Iran to know he didnt have thses weapons.. Everyone thought he did. Even his own people thought he did. His own sevice men thought he did. Look at Kerrys record. he has voted to cut the military repeatedly.. He mentioned in the debates about hoe good reagan did... Thats funny since he voted against everything Reagan did. He said Bush sr. did it right in the first gulf war.. Thats funy since he voted against that war... Like all democrats he WILL be weak on defense. He WILL be weak at defending this country. He said he ever give power to other countries to decide whats best for america. Yet in the same breath he said we should have to pass a global test before going to war... There is a reason why september 11th was the only attack on American targets since Bush took office.. During the Clinton administration there were 16 attacks on American targets and he did nothing.. The same thing Kerry would do..If you have children and you vote for Kerry, Im sorry but you're stupid.. Plain and simple.. And if you vote for president by who speaks better and who looks prettier you shouldnt even vote...
Bush was warned not to make facial grimices. He resorted to bully tactics to compensate. He needs a crutch so he can function vocally. we all know the result of that manuever.
"We have been led to cynically believe that many politicians are disingenuous and generally phony, but few will ever beat Massachusetts Senator John Kerry. This man, who changed his middle initial to be JFK and at an anti-Vietnam rally threw someone else's medals into the water, made a self-promotion appearance with Boston talk-show maven Eddie Andelman and claimed he was a big Red Sox fan from his days growing up in Groton, Mass. And at the promotion he said Eddie Yost was his favorite player.
"The problem with that is just the simple fact that Eddie Yost never played for the Red Sox."
With Bush and company I fear for my country.
What were these bully tactics you are refering too?
Most of you are from Europe aren't you?
Mike,
I watched the same debate you did. I for one do not want an out of control adolescent in charge of my children's or grandchildren's future. I'm tired of misinformed persons' such as yourself stating Kerry is weak. Take the time to look up his record at Congress.Org all of it not just the sound bites you see on Fox. I became of voting age durring the Vietnam War and it takes courage and strength to stand up for what you believe in. You need to read all 30 pages of Kerry's testimony and not base your judgment on one paragraph used as a soundbite. In that testimony he stood up for the Vietnam Vets when it came to healthcare and many other issues. Now before you label me a Hippy, I want you to know that my children's father served two tours of duty in Vietnam. I gave birth to our first child while he was stationed there. I lived that war and remember how we were branded as traitors if we questioned the reason or wisdom of our leaders. Sounds a lot like what is going on today. I suggest you read if you have not already done so, the Declaration of Independence and article 1 of the Bill of Rights "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press; or THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES." We are not allowed to do this without being labled as liberals (which I take as a compliment) or somehow we are not supporting the troops. Worse yet by questioning our government (which by the way the framers of the constitution encouraged) we are somehow supporting terrorist. I for one will not be shouted down or degraded by a raving adolescent for seeking the truth.
Patty
I don't know about you and your ignorant friends, Williams, but I never once believed that Hussein had WMD--and neither did the news outlets that have been right on every recent issue about which the mainstream press has been shown to be liars and whores for a warmongering group of rapture-seekers.
Maybe you need to change your source of news, so you won't be so ignorant during the remainder of your life.
I don't know about you and your ignorant friends, Williams, but I never once believed that Hussein had WMD--and neither did the news outlets that have been right on every recent issue about which the mainstream press has been shown to be liars and whores for a warmongering group of rapture-seekers.
Well, Thats because you're stupid!
Patti, I didnt once mention his stance on vietnam. I was refering to the 20 years he spent in the senate since vietnam... He voted against every weapons program. Weapons programs that are used to defend this country.. Thats why I said he was weak.. try reading my post, getting an understanding of what I said and then comment... Its Bush haters like you that will vote for kerry.. Noone else will, and Bush will win again... And Cheney will run in 2008 and win against Hillary Clinton.. Right it down..
Mike Williams,
At least I spell your name correctly. I was not just speaking of Vietnam, but Kerry's entire record in the Senate, you can find it at Congress.org. If you actually did your own research without depending on soundbites relating to one weapons program that even Chenny did not support. Also look up S647 and then tell me he doesn't care about our troops.
Patty
What do you mean one weapons program.. He voted against the B2.. The B52.. The stealth fighter. SDI.. I can go on and on.. Its not a sounbite.. I dont know if you are just trying to pretend like anyone that supports Bush is a fox news zombie or what. But if so you are dead wrong... I did my research. Fact is if you did yours you would know it was actually about 20 weapons programs he voted against not just one.... Like I said he says Bush should have done it more like Reagan or more like Bush sr.. Kerry voted agianst everything Reagan and Bush sr. did... There is a reason the communist party is backing Kerry...Its because he is largely liberla pushing for a socialistic society in this country that will eventually become communist if he succeeds...
I never said he didnt care about our troops either... By the way sory for misspelling your name....
Mike,
I have done my research, yes it wasn't just one, but there are two schools of thought when it comes to being redundit in our military and weapons. Look up the bills in question and read them in their entirety. Please Mike do not envoke the communist party because I could say the same of the Klan in regards to Bush. That's just stupid. If caring about the least fortunate among us regarding health care, a decent wage...ect is somehow communistic than maybe we had better change the bible and label Christ a communist. When you can explain to me why Enron can control and produce an energy crisis in CA and steal millions from middle class retiees and get away with it and Martha goes to jail for a simple obstrution of justice, No they did not find evidence to charge her with insider trading and they tried very hard. When you can explain to me why Haliburton gets rewarded for ripping us and our troops off for millions if not billions and this adminstration ignores it. Unless you sit at their Corporate table, I think you and others who subscibe to your way of thinking should be very worried at what the future holds for your children. All you have to do is look at the past, when we lost our democracy to Corporations.
Patty
Mike,
We need to remember our history of the 20' and 30's so we do not repeat our mistakes.
Patty
Face it, Bush could have pulled out his member and brought himself off onstage and the cable news programs would have delared him the winner.
Since when has voting for weapons systems made this nation safer? You may recall the weapon of choice on Sept. 11 2001 was box cutters.
The only way this world is going to be safer is when a great number of its people get social justice and economic justice. Our new president has the opportunity to lead the way into this new way of thinking.
Mike,
we are all rapidly declining into the least fortunate. Just look around you. I agree with the last post regarding social and economic justice for all, but it is not a new thought. Mike listen to a NOFX song "Franco American" Fat Mike has got it right the idiots have taken over. Who will protect your rights when we are gone because of the labels you like to attache to us.
Patty
Kerry definitely won both the debates and I have full confidence he will win the third. The media can spin until they throw up but they cannot hide the truth of the matter.
Let's face it, Bush is a breaker. He broke our election process in 2000, he broke our constitution, he broke our country's budget, he broke Iraq, he broke the rules in the debates..both of them..the first with whatever was hidden under his suit jacket and the second by overruling the moderator. With more thought, I could probably find many more instances of things he has broken, and I won't even go into all the lies he has spewed for the last 4 years. He lies when the truth would serve better. I sincerely hope Kerry can clean up the mess our country and unfortunately Iraq too when he is elected in November. I wouldn't wish that job on my worst enemy, but since he wants to tackle it, I'm voting to let him try. Then in 2006 try to give him a congress to work with him.
John Kerry: the only rational choice.
Hey Dubya! I got your wood right here!
Do not beleive what any politician says.
Not Bush. Not Kerry.
Believe in what you see around you. Blood and carnage in Iraq. Civil debate turned into not-so-civil name calling. This nation's blood and treasure being spilled in a distant desert for a rich man's pleasure. We are in a desperate situation. Bush must go!
Why was bunnypants Bush yelling at us? Anybody notice the box and wire on his back and the ear piece in his ear?? He looses even when he is spoon fed the answers. Nov 2~ goodbye Lush and Chestpainey.
Time to chip Sally.
Hey Sally, shut yer yap about Canada. You should be so lucky to live next to a nice peaceful country. Maybe you'd feel better being next door to Iran or North Korea.
Twit!
Ignore the Constitution and Monroe Doctrine.
Reap the whirlwind.
How can Gw consider himself a world leader ,if the the majority of the the world refuses to follow his idiotic ways? you need followers if your to lead ! Bush has none worth there weight. Even a polls of British citizens ,don't support his and Blairs b/s
Kerry - thoughtful, courteous, used evidence, shared insight, provided examples, calm, collected...
Bush - Blink, blink, blink, blink, blink, blink, blink, ....
At the next debate try the CSPAN1 channel and watch the split screen -- highly recommended. they show the two candidates side by side the entire time so you can see Bush squirm.
Oust Bush and his cronies!!
Former CIA Heads are even making waves that the Bushies are not happy about:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml.../ixnewstop.html
President Bush, you will have my vote if you do just one thing:
Send your two daughters to fight in Iraq. That way I will will be assured of your willingness to make the sacrifce that you expect of everyuone else.
Elections in Iraq will not magically make things O.K. --- The insurgents have found a weopon that can be used easily and endlessly. CAR BOMBS. For just a little investment (i.e. - a suicidally inclined jihadist of which there seems to be an endless supply and a few hundred pounds of explosives)the insurgents are getting national press on a daily basis.
THIS WAR WILL NEVER END.
It is draining us of our vitality and goodwill.
For those of you who can't be civil; take it somewhere else.
From the LA Times - 10/10 --
"The Bush administration, which went to war primarily to disarm the Baghdad regime of suspected illicit stockpiles, has not previously disclosed that the insurgent groups that have emerged and steadily expanded since Hussein's ouster are trying to develop their own crude supplies of such deadly agents as mustard gas, ricin and the nerve gas tabun."
How's that for unintended consequences.
Hey MAC,
Sally is right on.
You Canadians have so F'd up that you have a French problem (they want to seperate).
To make thinkgs worse you have a Muslim 5th column building in your country. Your country has introduced SHARIA law to your provinces !
Id say your slipping away Mac...
A major F'd up counrty for sure, but thats not all.
Canada is a conduit for terrorist to get into the US.
And more Mac, we dont give a fuck who YOUR countrymen want us to vote for down here. so shut up already , EH !
F'n FROSTBACKS !
Mounties with Turbans coming next !
Kerry is a traitor, a communist, a liar, and a fraud.
Kerry and his dumb ass pony Edwards, if elected, would relegate the US to third world status.
Thankfully with diebold in the bag, we dont have to worry about your silly liberal agenda.
You lib turds, words like:
"Social and economic justice"
actually mean you are a communist and you believe in taking from anyone who has more than YOU..
You are a commie swine.
Your starry eyed idealism will meet the cold knife of the Islamic head-cutters.
If it is left up to you ball-less weak-kneed apologetic self-hating liberals, the very society that provides you a safe haven will be destroyed by Islam...
An you and your friends will be stoned to death (or beheaded).
That is why the security of our future cannot be left in the hands of clueless self-hating morons like you.
And to think that the Canadians just let Sharia law into their country recently is evidence of your demise.
Mac,
You better start caring about what other countries think. We have lost most of our factory jobs and are now outsourcing our tech. jobs. Soon tourism will be all we have left. Who in their right mind would want to visit a country filled with people who display your type of rudness and arrogance. Bush talks about a globel economy, but if you listen really listen he wants to be King of the world. So sorry to let you know Mac, there is a big chunk of the world who can read and write and not just in english. You had better put away your arrogance because it shows your ignorance.
Patty
Why is it that Liberals have a belief system which is so pathological?
Were they deprived of oxygen at birth?
Or are they suffering from middle class guilt because they are not living in a mud hut and praying to mecca?
Extreme liberalism is a mental disorder. Get some help ok ?
sorry Mac my previous post was for Frost and all who continue in their belief that only Americans are entiltled to an oppion and always have the correct one.
Patty
Americans are entitled to an opinion.
Other countries are too, its just that they cannot ENFORCE their opinion, so they feel ineffectual and weak. This is then displayed as hostility twards americans.
What really bothers the global liberals is that we (US) didnt ask for their permission or help to do what has to be done.
France and Germany are not needed, so they whine.
Canada THINKS they have a place on the world stage, but they are just an economic outpost of America... kinda like Jamaica... and they cant vote in US elections.
Remember, your either with us or against us !
Willy and others with the same mindset as his are either very young or have lived a sheltered life. Yes I'm middle class, but I do not feel guilty the word is grateful. A few years back my youngest was diagnoised with a life theatning illness and spent the better part of two years in Childrens Hospital. I had great insurance but still had to fight my HMO. There were many children there that whose parents were not so lucky and the state provided their care. This is just one reason why we need a blend of democracy and social programs. If we continue on Bush's path of allowing Corporations to run unchecked, I garrentee your lifestyle will change. I have the perfect job for you. You can be in charge of sending all the sick home to die needlessly, since you seem to believe that we are all Commies if we provide Social Progarms.
Patty
Patti,
You should move to Canada then, I hear that have socialised medicine (if you can live long enough to be seen by a doctor).
Seriously, go, NOW
take your sick commie friends with you too.
Willie,
You would be laughable, but the fact remains too many of you are out there. You think your jobs and lifestyle are protected but they are not. We have some real problems in this country that need to be addressed and hopefully for us they will be. Since when does Corporate Greed equal Democracy? Read your history and learn.
Patty
Bush and Cheney both live on (socialized medicine) bought and paid for by the US Taxpayers. Many of those taxpayers in dead end jobs, with no benefits, no medical insurance. So come to America for some red-neck health care, survival of the fittest. And Bush says he's Pro-Life that is until the child takes it's first breath, then it's own it's own. Every Child Left Behind, the Bush motto. No health care, just more pre-emptive wars and destruction, all thanks to the Neo-cons. And the cheerleading FReepers.
Jammy,
Your solution is to kill the next generation in utero? How morally superior of you.
And yes, survival of the fittest. It has always been that way and always will.
There will always be freeloaders like you pretending to be Robin Hood, just so long as you get your cut right Jammy?
Go offer yourself to some compasionate Islamics... see what they care about your infidel thoughts.
You wont last 5 seconds before they slice off your head with a dull knife.
Put that in your liberal pipe and smoke it Jammy.
First of all, Mounties are already allowed to wear their turbans while on duty. Why would anyone have a problem with that, unless they nurture the raw hatred of a racist?
Second, your last-ditch desperate attempts via Aaron Brown to pin your own sorry country's border patrol problems on Canada are laughable. Bad people criss-cross the world, entering all countries including Canada and the US. Who, exactly, is the whiner?
Third, America needs Canada much more than the other way around. Who has abundant natural resources? What happens to countries that need to import natural resources (hint: Hitler). There is more and more American whining these days that "our economic problems are the fault of other countries, somehow." So let's nix NAFTA, and Canada can send its oil & gas to other markets instead of having it guaranteed for America through NAFTA. You thought softwood lumber has been a hassle? Don't fuck with us, jerk-offs.
Everyone, go see "The Motorcycle Diaris" and then pick up a protest sign. Che will be remembered through the ages for being ten times the hero as any of the crybaby murderers called Bush.
"Oh, please, vote for the tyrant in the White House because Canada has poisonous drugs and gives birth to nothing but commies & terrorists." Weak, despairing revision of history's two biggest swindles: the "Cold War" and the "War on Terrorism."
Swindles.
Swindles.
Swindles.
does gw own a lumber co. cuz it wood be nice if he wood leaf office
I just wanted to add that as an undecided voter, I watched the debates with a completely open mind, but I have to say that Bush did come across as juvenile, bratty, and dim-witted - dodging questions, interrupting and repeating himself - never really addressing the issue at hand. I voted for him in 2000, by the way (a fact of which I am very regretful today). I will certainly not be making that same mistake in 2004. Bush lost my vote as a result of his shameful behavior and responses at the last two debates.
Kerry is far from perfect, but he's certainly better than the alternative. We do not need a petulant, impulsive, impatient child running this country any longer.
The best way to protest the incredibly biased post-debate spin on the networks is to watch the next one on PBS. I have done that for all three so far and was impressed with the fair coverage.
What's with all the Canadian bashing, I think you are watching far too much South Park and don't know satire when you see it. Just another example of "No Child Left Behind" some of you are encapable of thinkinbg for your self. Jammy is right we seem to care so much about the unborn, yet allow so many of our children to live in poverty with little or no health care. No I don't need to move to Canada, I pay very large taxes and would perfer that they go to our children than corporate welfare. Bushies what you fail to realize is your just working class like me and they are picking your pocket BIG TIME. Stay in your stupor of never being wrong and this country will become the country of the rich and powerful and you will be just another one of their slaves.
Patty
Patty makes a good point. All you provincial, foul-mouthed, narrow-minded Bushies take note:
Bush and his cronies want you all to believe their never-ending pack of lies; and you have obliged them. Have you ever had an original thought or do you merely regurgitate your facist, conservative commentators(Am I using too many big words?).
IF BUSH IS RE-ELECTED YOU-ALL DESERVE IT!
At a stop light, in the left turn lane, I took an unofficial poll: Two cars with Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker, one car with Bush/Cheney bumper sticker, and one car with nothing. My "poll" says 50% Kerry/Edwards, 25% Bush/Cheney, 25% undecided/too lazy to get a bumper sticker/register to vote.
The second debate was probably the only REAL debate we'll see...thanks to the questions posed by ordinary citizens unafraid of ruffling the candidates' feathers!
Politics in America has deteriorated to an orchestrated farce designed to inhibit the actual confrontation between two opposing candidates...and has reached the equivalent of a beauty contest/auction in which the candidates will pander and posture but seldom say anything of substance for fear that telling the actual truth will prove a millstone around their necks. As long as we allow CORPORATE VESTED INTERESTS to have their political lobbyists in the halls of congress and in the Oval Office, this country is a sham - a Plutocracy...or, as P.J. O'Rourke has so succinctly put it, a 'Parliament of Whores.' No wonder we get imbeciles in office - the truly great minds avoid the holding of public office like the plague, since it constitutes a total glass house and a surrenduring of all integrity.
Do I have any faith in Bush? No. Do I have much hope for Kerry? Not really. I can't even respect Ralph Nader anymore, since he obviously doesn't have enough on the ball to realize when his goose is cooked! I made the mistake of voting for Ross Perot and the little Weasel BACKED OUT of the election! My conclusion: it's all 'bread and circuses,' folks - we are watching the decline of the Roman Empire all over again, and unless we get someone in office who actually has the cojones to stand up to the American people and tell them to put their BRAINS in GEAR for a change, this country is headed down the tubes. Maybe John Kerry will actually restore integrity to the Oval Office...MAYBE. My best guess is, probably NOT...I think he may have cut too many deals already...you HAVE to, in this country, to be able to get the kind of advertising HIS campaign has paid for.
The smartest thing we could do is to somehow design an electoral LOTTERY system, where the people who get the public offices DON'T WANT THE JOB...but are DRAFTED into required service for fixed terms. The only president I could ever trust is one who really doesn't want the job and would just as soon get the heck out of office as stay in.
And all you people who cry and whine about abortion being murder and innocent children dying...did you know that the majority of Prison inmates in America were UNWANTED CHILDREN? And that America has the highest incarceration (that means 'being held in confinement') rate in the WORLD? And what is going to happen to your kids when all the forests are cut down and the oceans so polluted that the planet can't sustain the making of oxygen for all us oxygen-breathers anymore...and the temperature in Phoenix Arizona hits 150 degrees? "Oh, but we saved all those babies that were going to be aborted!" For WHAT? So they can all go to PRISON and suck up all your tax money?
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that other countries in the world are right: Americans are MORONS and we DESERVE to have Bush as our president! And I would leave this country in a HEARTBEAT if I had the money and a passport...unfortunately, I'm unemployed and unable to find a job in my profession, and stuck in a semi-rural backwater of this country with no way out...so I guess all you idiots can keep paying my unemployment until I can get a job as a ditch digger or something glamorous like that.
Original 13th Amendment (paraphrased): "No one shall have any entitlement or other official title that enforces an otherwise fraudulent claim to special status in society."
This original amendment to the Constitution received the "lost in the mail" treatment, because those who wanted to pretend they had some kind of entitlement in life wanted a clear distinction between, for example, lawyers/judges and the "peons" over whom they pass their fraudulent judgement.
So America in the first half of the 19th Century got cheated out of one 13th Amendment, but another amendment would eventually be proposed to take its "number thirteen" slot. This "new" 13th Amendment was the "no slavery or indentured servitude" amendment that came out of the Civil War. A fine amendment, with one glaring loophole...
Fast forward to today, when the increasingly fascist government--wanting to please their corporate cronies and their "right" to the cheapest labor possible--start packing the prisons as much as possible because the (new) 13th Amendment makes an exception for "indentured servitude" for anyone who is incarcerated. Bingo, thousands of modern slaves that aren't called "slaves" any more, but rather "convicts" who will never be allowed to vote again because--naturally--slaves will always try to vote themselves out of slavery.
Vote for neither Bush nor Kerry, because they both want this "arrangement" to continue as-is.

I dont know exactly what this post is supposed to mean, But I dodnt say the communist party supports Kerry because of any ideas I think are communist. I said it because they do... You can go the communist party website and read their endorsement. As far as the klan.. Thats plain goofy... Lets not forget it was republicans that ended slavery. Lincoln was a republican.. It was democrats that voted NO on the civil rights act.. And the ex grand wizard of the Klan is a democrat senator named Rober Byrd.. So you might re think that post...
JUST VOTE THE SON OF A BUSH OUT!!!
I thought Kerry Was clearly better informed than HITLER/BUSH and dealt with the issues far better.
And who in their right mind would vote for someone who cant admit that they made a mistake?? When asked to show 3 mistakes he made and what steps he took to correct them HITLER/BUSH couldnt even say he made one that to me says he mentally unbalanced. I totally agree with a previous poster that HITLER/BUSH should be IMPEACHED.

This is the kind of utter ignorance I get so sick of hearing... Comparing Bush to Hitler is plain stupid... You know as well as I do if he had mentioned any misstakes it would have been turned into soundbytes and used against him.. Of course he isnt going to.. Either woud I..... We were right for taking out saddam... I dont vote for someone because they speak better... Kerry is a joke. Hs a good debator thats why he can take both sides of an issue and some idiots that dont pay attention dont catch it... If you judge purely on substance Bush won the last debate. Lincoln was a horrible public speaker, yet he was one of the greatest presidents ever...When he delivered the Ghettysburg address everyone sat in silence. Noone even cheered when it was over.. But 3 days later the speech was printed in news papers across the country and everyone loved it... It was the message that wasimportant. Not how well he delivered it...
I can not for the life of me understand how their is even a vote going on here. The Bush administration besides being criminals, liars and arrogant, pridefull ,greedy misfits ... they are obvious murderers. Over 30,000 Iraq's dead. 1000+ americans. No immenent threat! We invaded a country without provication. Sadam could have been evicted in less trastic and barbaric methods. Bush needs to be impeached and tried, humiliated and jailed along with his greedy cohorts. They place false fear into the heart of this country. He threatens our liberties, our common ground of ideals and makes us laughable and threatening to the rest of the planet. He is a Terrorist. The obvious is in front of our faces every time he opens his beedy eyes in an attempt to be genuine. How can this be happening? HAs their fear tactics worked? How can this be a close race? Anybody but Bush. I hope Kerry can clean up his mess. If this administration cheats this vote again I and my family will leave the Un-United States. My daughter's school has already given papers to me via the "No Child Left Behind ACT" asking for permission to give my daughters records to the military. What bull "No Draft" my ass. Power to the People!
You may think he is not like Hitler but the facts show otherwise. And it is public record that the bush family supported Hitler and funneled supplies to him . Hitler was elected by much the same tactics as bush used to get elected , strongarm tactics and voting irregularities and when it came time for another election he had put in place a power hungry mob of individuals who were not about to relingquish power now that they had it. So they rescinded several of the laws granting citizens rights and flat out ousted the government in place and took over. Now bush used hatred and fear to push thru the patriot act which gives the government the power to invade any home without court approval or any justification needed, they can declare anyone an enemy combatant and strip all their rights, again with no recourse to courts lawyers etc. and Bush is trying to push a bill thru to allow him to postpone or cancel the upcoming elections in case of imminent threat. Sounds pretty much like the same pattern Hitler used to me. The gop is trying to disallow 28,000 new voter registrations in Ohio because they werent on the right thickness of paper and about 80% of those registered as democrats hmmm sounds like they might be worried that the American public wants something to change. It is pretty clear when a country is invaded and the place that is guarded is the oil refineries and oil fields not the banks, schools, churches, hospitals, etc seems like the obvious reason for the invasion had more to do with the oil than anything else. It seems to me that the terroristsw have already won since our supposedly oh so good president has done their work for them americans have basically had their rights stripped from them, all in the name of protecting them of course. And Bush is poised on the brink of not allowing the election process to take place all in the name of protecting the citizens of this country. He flat out lied about the reasons for going to war, altho i must admit Saddam was a threat just not as pressing a threat as Osama bin Laden and his cohorts. He just seemed to forget about the real terrorists and decided to go after the oil instead. With Bush in office and the plans he has already pushed onto the American people i dont think we can really call ourselves a free country anymore and isnt that basically the point of terrorism to disrupt the country they attack well i would have to say George W Bush has done pretty good at making sure they accomplished their ends.
fuck u steve at october 9, you bible toting republican cocksucker, look at a dead iraqi child and pray, cause hell has a place for all of you so called conservative
republicans!!!!!!!
Support a Mass Murderer ... Elect George Bush!
I can not for the life of me understand how their is even a vote going on here. WOW.. How stupid are you....VERY.. First off Bush never said there was an imenent threat. What he said was we were gonns stop saddam BEFORE HE BECAME an imenent threat...WHat liberties have you lost? none.... What has Bush done that is an impeachable offense...none... The fact that you said that shows your stupid and have no idea of the impeachment process or what is a valid impeachable offense... Fortunatly most americans are educated and dont live in your world of infinate ignorance..
I can not for the life of me understand how their is even a vote going on here.
And by the way. thats should be there....Not their..DUMBASS.... Man some of you people are really stupid... Where you from.....France...
Again this shows your stupidity.. The patriot act does NOT give anyone the right to search a home without court order.. It does give them the right to serve a "silent warrent" Which still has to be court ordered.. But if you are not home they dont have to wait for you they can search anyway..The Patriot act uses the same tactics as they use for major drug dealers... Simply put.. Learn to read and then read the patriot act for yourself instead of listening to the crap Michael Moore tells you... And Bush is not pushing any bill to cancel or postpone the elections in case of an immenent threat, That law ALREADY EXISTS... but it wont be implemented... By the way the afl cio is under investigation here in ohio for registering dead people as voters.... Its kennedy all over again... You need to educate yourself because you are making your self look very stupid with some of the things you say...

Just happen to have relatives and friends in Iraq, so put down your prezel and beer before you throw up on your self! Soon just about everyone in the USA will know someone or know of someone in Iraq and elsewhere, soon dead and barely alive. My father was a soldier for this country with honors and landed in Normandie day 3 of the invasion of WWII (a worthy war!!). It was a war against the Nazis that GW's grandad financially supported! So I will speak the fuc... up about what is morally wrong today, in this just about facist 'Forth Reich' nation. Show me the right to lifers adopting these must be born Americans, or shut the f up - Do you have the nerve to ask yourself ARE U A NAZI LIKE YOUR PRESIDENT?! Fact, most or these 'right to lifers/fundamentals' don't adopt American born children (esp of color) and those that do go to foreign countries to save lives!!! You must be lonely and hope they breed more mindless slaves like yourself?!
TIME TO KERRY BUSH AND THESE NAZIS OUT NOVEMBER 2ND!
Should we really trust our nation to a leader who cannot bring himself to speak the phrase "pay-as-you-go"?
George Bush derided John Kerry's style of fiscal prudence as "Pay-Go" but to me as well as most Americans, it's just common sense.
Support the Mass Murderers
There was no immenent threat!
Vote Bush/Cheney

1500 in a year and a half of war. Only about 800 have died in combat the others were accident related. Things that didnt happen on the battle field...
Why is france and germany not with us in this war? Because they were on the take from saddam. They were making monet off the food for oil program. In fact the president of france told saddam not to worry about the US because he would veto anything they tried to do through the UN... But what he didnt know is that AMERICA doesnt give a shit what the UN wants or thinks Un means ( useless nations) And france is nothing but a bunch of querrs on red scooters and their women have hairy legs and under arms....
How many frenchmen doesn it take to defend paris?.... Nobody knows they have never done it.. WE do it for them.. America is the greatest country in the world. In fact it is the greatest country in the history of the world... WE are what the rest of the world wishes they were... GOD BLESS AMERICA.. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS...AND GOD BLESS GEORGE W. BUSH...... HE will win the election whether france likes it or not...

Hey - Mr Uninformed O'Reilly Limbaugh loving idiot, right wing Nazi psycho slut - those mass graves 'recently' discovered have been there for decades and Ol Rummy, dead Ronald and Bush Sr are just some of the guys who turned a blind eye and even supplied Sadam with the means to kill these people! You are seriously ignorant, these Nazis in the Whitehouse didn't give a shi.. then and only now do they try to tug at your ignorant heart strings because they are full satanic hot deadly gas and air.

I gather you're looking forward to the 'end times' so go to Iraq and make your hell on earth now!
PS. Williams... those mass graves? Guess what. Those graves that were found were created by the Gulf War and the deaths of over 35,000 civilians that died during the first invasion of that country. Wake up we are being lied to again. I am an American and will not stand for any more lies. I am ubove all a citizen of this planet first and foremost. Bush will begin War World III. That is his agenda!
bush and kerry are both pretty bad at what they do!

9/11 Families Valentines Letter to President Bush
by Colleen Kelly, David Potorti and Kelly Campbell
February 14, 2004
Dear President Bush,
Two years ago today, family members of 9/11 victims lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on Flight 93 launched a group called September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows. We chose Valentine¹s Day as a symbolic reminder that the American ideals of peace, justice and reconciliation remain vibrant, and did not die with our loved ones.
On that day, we held up a large heart containing a valentine letter to you. In the letter we asked to meet with you to discuss the creation of a fund to assist innocent victims of war in Afghanistan. We felt that it was not only a decent and moral response to those accidental deaths, but also a practical opportunity to demonstrate the same compassion that 9/11 family members received from all over the globe.
You chose not to meet with us, but since that day two years ago, the members of Peaceful Tomorrows have worked to display the best of America's ideals to the rest of the world. We secured congressional funding to assist Afghan civilians affected by the war. We connected with others around the world who have been similarly affected by terrorism and war. We stood with millions across the globe against the war in Iraq and for the cause of peace. And our group has grown as more 9/11 family members have found healing by turning their grief into action for peace. In contrast, you declared it was an 'us versus them' world, and pursued unilateral and unpopular policies that turned that world against the United States and made us less secure. And worst of all, you often used the deaths of our family members as an excuse to pursue that agenda.
Two years later, we ask you to stop exploiting the tragedy of September 11 for political gain and to join us in responding to that tragic day in a manner that brings about genuine healing and peace for Americans and the rest of the world.
We respectfully request a written response to the following questions:
1. You and members of your administration consistently invoked 9/11 as a justification for war in Iraq, without presenting any evidence of a link between Saddam Hussein¹s Iraq and the attacks of that day. The confusing and misleading statements made by your administration that allude to an unproven link have caused a majority of the US public, (up to 70% according to a Washington Post poll taken in September 2003) to believe that Saddam Hussein was responsible for September 11.You have exploited the American public's genuine fear of another September 11 to pursue an unrelated war, which has already cost the lives of more than 500 US service people and an estimated 10,000 Iraqi civilians. We call upon you today to publicly acknowledge that your administration's statements have misled the American people, and to clarify that there is no evidence of a connection between the events of 9/11 and Saddam Hussein's Iraq. Please, Mr. President, will you correct this dangerous misperception?
2. In light of your announcement that the United States plans to step up the campaign to find Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan, we ask that you cease the tactic of bombing villages in an attempt to kill Bin Laden or other suspected Al Qaeda or Taliban leaders. In the past two years these village bombings have killed and injured countless innocent civilians, including children, while failing to achieve their stated aim. Since the beginning of 2003, media reports confirm that more than 64 civilians have been killed in at least six separate incidents of village bombings. Meanwhile, most top Taliban and Al Qaeda leaders have been captured through international cooperation, intelligence sharing, and police work, not the bombing of villagers. No one desires Bin Laden to be arrested and stand trial more than we do. Yet through continued bombing of innocent civilians, you have increased anti-American sentiment and created legions of potential future terrorists. We beg you, Mr. President, will you direct the military to cease the tactic of bombing villages in Afghanistan, and choose more effective methods to capture the criminals responsible for our loved ones deaths?
3. We ask you to stop playing politics with the 9/11 attacks. September 11 was many things, but it was a victory for no one but the terrorists. When your administration treats it like a success story and your political party uses the World Trade Center site as the backdrop for the Republican convention this fall, we are offended. We have witnessed the photograph of you on the telephone on September 11 sold by your campaign as a fundraising vehicle. We have read Republican party officials' acknowledgement that the national convention was planned in New York City at the latest possible date in order to 'flow seamlessly into the commemoration of 9/11.' And we have witnessed your administration's lack of cooperation with the Independent Commission investigating 9/11. On November 27, 2002, you stated, "the investigation should carefully examine all the evidence and follow all the facts, wherever they lead. We must uncover every detail and learn every lesson of September the 11th. It's our most solemn duty."We ask you today live up to that promise. As president of the United States, you well know that our nation's future is more important than any one person¹s political career. We ask you, Mr. President, will you renounce the exploitation of September 11th for partisan political gain?
You claim that September 11th made you a war president. But this is not true. By responding to the terrorism of 9/11 with an unending 'war on terror,'and a doctrine of pre-emptive war, you and your administration chose this path. After September 11, the entire world reached out to the United States with compassion. Rather than building on that good will and ushering the world into a new era of mutual cooperation, an effort that would have required true statesmanship and a willingness to deal honestly with the root causes of terrorism, you appealed to our fears and to the worst in human kind. Your domestic and foreign policies have reduced our nation's leadership, leaving us less secure, less free, less respected and less able to deal effectively with the genuine threat of 21st century terrorism.
This Valentine's Day, two years after the creation of September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, we call on you to open your heart, take accountability for your actions, and act now to set our nation on the path of real peace. This is the way to truly honor those who died on September 11 and who continue to live in our hearts. We look forward to your timely answers to our inquiries.
Sincerely,
September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows
It never ceases to amaze me that so many who profess to be caring, symathetic and wanting the best for the world and our children can spew such hatred against our president. It appears that a great number of us will believe anything their told, as long as it's from someone who hates the president. What a nation of idiots we are becoming. God help us.
Sadly today in this counrty there are some that continue to believe in false prophets and those that steal/run & ruin countries, their own country included. Sadly their are people that do not understand the concept of questioning authority and FOLLOWING THE MONEY. The folks running this country right now are crooks!
The record speaks for itself and everything said by YOUR President and his handlers result in the exact reverse, the facts are there, just seek them and they will be revealed (fyi-not to be found in corporate controlled media). Sadly today in the US many people are like sheep. The truth is disturbing, get over it and wake up! Another four years of this crap and we'll be in too deep. Even Rome fell!
Bush means good. And I pity him. I think I could actually go for a beer with him. It's just a pity he surrounds himself with neocon scumbags who do not give a rat's tail about the state of the planet.
This is a perfect example of what those so called peace lovers really think.. Name calling etc... Thats ok.. You can be bitter because GOD gave you the brains of a peanut.. Nonetheless Bush will win, and it will not be as close as alot of people think. He will win by 40 points or more..
"God told me to strike at Al-Qaida and I struck them, and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East"

Bush never said that. stop spreading your lies...
No Imminent Threat - PERIOD. Cheney is a mass murderer. PERIOD. Get it straight. If they are in for another stolen term, impeachment must begin. Trial, Humiliation and then electrocution. PERIOD.

Question How many members of the Bush Administration are needed to change a light bulb?
Answer It takes 10:
1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed.
2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed.
3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb.
4. One to tell the nations of the world that they are either "for" changing the light bulb or "for" darkness.
5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb.
6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner: "Light bulb Change Accomplished".
7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally in the dark.
8. One to viciously smear #7.
9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along.
10. And finally, one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing a light bulb and screwing the country.
Bush is the winner hands down....I rather have the fight over there than here! He at least has morals!
I have never seen so much hate in my life for some one who is trying to do the right thing in protecting our country! People calm down for heavens sake! Funny that a site that thinks so liberally can spew so much hate! Seems like the definition for liberal now has changed....It has changed to the same definition as Hate!
I pity people like Ann, as I pity the mentally retarded. I read a great deal, contemporary politics, modern and ancient history, most of the serious magazines. I even read the Weekly Standard to see what the right is saying. It is clear to me that George Bush would sell us chocolate-covered arsenic if it would help him win. The neo-cons are keeping us wildly off-balance in the Middle East, which is violently anti-Semitic. Our support of Israel is interpreted as an 'American jihad against Muslimism. There are 1.3 BILLION of them. Bush's "War on Terror" is a replay of "High Noon", but with 280 million Americans facing 1.3 billion Muslims in the dusty street.
Bush has taken every possible presidential option (and they are many) to reverse our progress in ecology. The "Clean Air" act is a bad joke: it permits large polluters to spew out contaminants that the human race will have to live with for centuries. For God's sake, Ann, for our sakes, for our descendants' sakes, get your head out of the sand or wherever it is stuck and STUDY this situation, rather than just mouthing Cheney, Wolfowitz and Fox News.
If this corrupt administration steals and cheats this election. The rebellion must begin. We must fight to take this country back for the sake of our children. Whomever supports Bush and the cronies are the true terrorists of this generation. "WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN"!
i think no matter how you vote this year you will LOSE
no matter how hard we try the government has the say in who wins
do you reallt think your vote counts?????????
