Religious radicals "blessed" by Tom DeLay (who seems one step away from becoming a Judeo-Christian ayatollah) and several other members of the Republican Party's leadership are demanding that Congress commit a series of unconstitutional acts against U.S. judges. These people are hell-bent (pardon the pun) on turning America into another Afghanistan.

If you eliminate all checks and balances to your power, then surprise! There are no checks and balances to your power.
They may have to answer to a higher Judge than any other for their actions, according to their own beliefs. All this time they thought they were sheep, they will one day find that they are goats (see Matthew 25).
