We didn’t need more evidence of the Christian right and its socially conservative allies having gone completely ‘round the bend, but they have graciously provided it anyway. In a New York Times piece titled “March of the Conservatives: Penguin Film as Political Fodder,” the mass psychosis and bizarre belief system of these two camps came into light with slackjawed clarity.

If you like nature films and haven’t seen “March of the Penguins,” you should, because it’s a good nature film. If you prefer political documentaries and haven’t seen “March of the Penguins,” then I’d suggest you see an actual political documentary - unless you’re interested in taking a kind of cinematic Rorschach test.
